Joanna Gaines Says This is the One Baking Dish You Need to Make Her Baked Oatmeal – it's Transformed My Breakfast Routine
This Magnolia baking dish is an oven-to-table hero – and it's the star of Joanna Gaines' baked oatmeal recipe
Joanna Gaines' recipes never fail to inspire with their seasonality and simplicity, and the latest cooking video she shared on Instagram is no exception. It's a quick and easy baked oatmeal recipe, which she serves with cinnamon milk for a wholesome and warming fall breakfast.
It's everything I could ask for on a chilly, dark morning, when I'm craving something cozy. And since discovering the fabulous kitchenware in Joanna Gaines' cooking show, I'm very happy to add the Magnolia French Gray Baking Dish that she uses for her oatmeal to my wishlist.

In the video, Joanna describes her baked oatmeal as 'warmth and comfort in a dish'. She mixes all the ingredients into Magnolia's vintage-inspired mixing bowl, before spooning it out into her French grey baking dish, which you could place straight onto the breakfast table.
Although Joanna enjoys her own slice of oatmeal from Magnolia's green Luna scalloped bowl, I'd happily serve mine straight from the dish. It's a true oven-to-table hero – and as it comes with a larger size in a set of two, you can scale up the recipe if you're hosting family.
Paired with her homemade cinnamon milk, Joanna Gaines' baked oatmeal really is a fall staple – made effortlessly simple and stylish, with the help of some gorgeous Magnolia essentials. I've also been using Magnolia bakeware to make Joanna Gaines' cinnamon rolls on repeat. And if you're curious about the rest of Joanna's kitchen essentials as seen in her baked oatmeal video, I've rounded them up here.

My current favorite Magnolia piece: the French grey baking dishes. Rustic and yet refined, these are ideal for both sweet and savory recipes this hosting season.
You'll find an array of copper accents in Joanna Gaines' modern rustic kitchen – including elegant measuring cups like these. Who says baking utensils can't look gorgeous?
I spent the summer learning plenty of new Weck jar hosting hacks, but it turns out they're not just for meal prep and salad dressings – Joanna uses this jar to store her homemade cinnamon milk.
Channel the amber glassware trend with this stylish measuring jug; I think it would look particularly chic alongside Magnolia's copper mixing bowls.
A sturdy wooden spoon is something every home cook should have in their kitchen, and I'd say this one is a winner; I love the rich color of acacia wood.
Alongside the cinnamon milk, Joanna tops her baked oatmeal with a handful of pumpkin seeds and a variety of fresh berries – and as soon as I spotted these berry bowls, I was obsessed.
I might be hooked on Joanna's baked oatmeal, but I'm making sure to try out plenty of fall food trends, too; sweet loaves like Samantha Seneviratne's carrot cake buns are next on my list.
