Breaking news, Magnolia's fall candles are back – and I'm stocking up now before they sell out
Magnolia's seasonal scents have just dropped, and I can't wait to get my hands on them

Late August might be devoted to that languorous, end-of-summer feeling, but I've always felt that it's the perfect time to start getting cozy for fall. So, I've resumed my hunt for the best candles, and Magnolia's new candles and fragrance are at the top of my wishlist.
Joanna Gaines certainly knows how to curate show-stopping seasonal decor – just take a look at the Magnolia fall collection for 2025, the one thing missing, however, was fragrance – but Magnolia has just dropped two new seasonal candles, and I can't wait to bring them into my home for fall.
Perhaps the most anticipated piece in the collection is the Magnolia Gathered Candle, which Joanna described last fall as her favorite scent. Bursting with notes of nutmeg, pumpkin and coffee, it's the dreamiest seasonal addition to any mantel, shelf or side table, and I love that it's available in both a small size and a larger, three-wick alternative. I'll be purchasing a few extra to top off my fall table decor ideas.
'To shift my home from summer into fall, I always change up the scents,' says Hebe Hatton, our head of interiors. 'No more zesty citrus or fresh linen: the second I light Magnolia's Gather candle, fall has started. I usually get it going in the first week of September when I sense a freshness in the air; it's my sign that summer has faded and fall is closing in.'
The second scent in Magnolia's new collection is the Amber Candle, which offers an enticing blend of musk, amber and Madagascan vanilla. This is a brilliant choice if you're after a transitional alternative to those heady fall spices; I'll certainly be burning a few during my final outdoor evening parties.
While the Gathered and Amber candles are the star of the show, Magnolia's new drop also includes matchsticks, a brass candle set, and a reed diffuser. Every item is American-made and utterly stylish; as usual, Joanna Gaines' impeccable homeware has me brimming with fall decor ideas.

This handsome set has really caught my eye – the candle offers luxurious notes of sandalwood, and the brass finish is a go-to texture for fall.
If you're on the lookout for the best home fragrance, try the Gathered Diffuser: it's a flame-free way to channel the pumpkin chai scent of the Gathered Candle.
Who said matchsticks couldn't look chic? I'm a huge fan of this sleek glass container; the copper accents are another ideal texture for fall.
