Brink delicately balances geometry with cascading organic dots to create a unique rug that is both structured as well as free form. Brink embodies a textured background providing depth beyond the surface of this organic geometric design.
Tableau is an abstract graphic print in a large scale that brings a direct boldness to any space. It is a modern take on street art, one of Kelly’s signature references and is available in three dynamic colourways.
Verge composes hand-penned line work with organic shapes in a dynamic pattern, both rigid and raw. The detailed diagonals create an interesting visual dialogue and a bold graphic statement.
Bravado Graphite is inspired by Kelly’s custom stair runner in her 1930s Georgian style home in Beverly Hills. Its graphic angular design is contrasted in a combination of graphite and ivory wool motifs. The design is simple and impactful and reflects Kelly’s signature modern aesthetic.
The Channels Indigo runner is an adaption of Kelly’s bestselling Channels Copper rug design, which was created exclusively for TRC20, The Rug Company’s 20th Anniversary.
Archetype Lake started as a pencil linework drawing, inspired by Bauhaus Design. Its repeating forms and architectural lines are reminiscent of a blueprint layout and feature a contrast of round and angular, geometric shapes.
‘For me design is curating a wealth of experiences into every space that are at once inviting and alive with history, culture and modernity. It is so inspiring designing rugs with The Rug Company knowing the pieces will have a soulful, textural and luxurious feel using different weaves and mixing beautiful materials and colours,’ explains Kelly Wearstler.
Each rug is meticulously handcrafted from the finest materials, in The Rug Company’s weaving houses in Kathmandu.
All of the designs will be available both online and in The Rug Company’s showrooms internationally.
