The most stylish hostesses I know are tablescaping with cabbageware this spring – this is the chicest way to shop the trend from just $10
These are our favorite cabbage-inspired finds to bring a cottage feel to your spring table

This spring, I’ve noticed a charming trend cropping up on the tables of the most stylish hosts I know: cabbageware.
As with most trends making the zeitgeist in 2025, this has vintage roots (literally). These ruffled, verdant ceramics burst onto the scene in the 19th century but sadly lost their fame along the way. But the cottagecore fans have spoken and cabbageware is one of the cutest spring decor trends making a comeback this year.
Whether in classic green or updated pastel hues, these leafy plates, bowls, and serving pieces are an effortless way to infuse organic fun into your table setting. Perfect for spring tablescaping ideas – and don't forget Easter too – I can't think of a better retro trend to revive in 2025. Here's how I'm shopping the trend.
Shop cabbageware home decor
Once a staple in traditional entertaining – famously collected by Jackie Kennedy – cabbage decor certainly creates a timeless aesthetic. You can go full Martha Stewart and create a cabbagecore display complete with patterned florals and plaids or pair crisp linens and vintage glassware to create an inviting, layered look that feels chic and modern.
Arguably the most famous of these pretty, produce-inspired stoneware hails from 19th-century Europe and was brought into the spotlight by Portuguese ceramicist Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro. And the cabbage also has plenty of friends, from tomatoes to fruits, fish to flowers – so if you're looking for a way to make your table feel alive, this is the way to do it.
The best part? You don’t need to splurge on rare vintage pieces to get the look. Many brands offer stylish and affordable cabbageware-inspired designs, making it super easy to introduce this whimsical touch to your table.
Whether you're hosting an Easter brunch, setting the table for a special occasion, or simply looking to add a touch of spring to your everyday dining, cabbageware is a foolproof way to make your tablescape feel fresh and stylish.
