Crate & Barrel’s new outdoor collection is here and it's giving European summer
Crate & Barrel’s spring outdoor collection has everything from chic planters to the comfiest outdoor chairs and throw pillows
Spring is the best time for outdoor soireés and for changing up your patio design, which is why I was very happy to see Crate & Barrel just released their spring outdoor collection. And it's chic, classic and reminiscent of European summers.
All of these ideas use neutral color schemes with interesting plays on texture and pattern, leading to well-made, classic outdoor furniture pieces and decor items that will stand the test of time. Crate & Barrel makes some of the best outdoor furniture out there, especially for the price point, and their selection of tableware, planters, and placemats will make sure you entertain in style this spring. I find that they are one of the best for those who want to follow interior design trends, but still want to ensure the pieces are timeless.
Our pick of the new Crate & Barrel outdoor collection
Since the new Crate & Barrel spring outdoor collection has over 60 items to pick from, ranging from smaller objects to larger pieces of furniture, I’ve done the heavy lifting for you and scoured the entire collection to find the most classic picks in furniture, tableware, decor, and even rugs to adorn your patio with.
The slanted rim and chic gray color on these planters keep them on-trend, yet classic at the same time. The lightweight combination of fiberglass, cement, and sand allows them to be moved around both indoors and out.
Using a single, large leaf fern in deep green on a pure white background creates such a massive statement without needing to go all-out maximalist. The textural design plays with shades of color, too.
This classic striped patio umbrella brings about a coastal vibe, while the solid eucalyptus frame makes sure it’s solid enough for all climates.
If you want to bring some depth and texture to your outdoor areas, this rug is perfect. The signature basketweave design brings about shades of gorgeous neutral hues that will elevate your space.
The strong eucalyptus arms on this chair emphasize its bold geometry, while the weather-resistant taupe cushion is soft to the touch.
Lifelike botanicals adorn this set of melamine plates, complete with a delicate look for an added luxe feel. They’re also made with recycled bamboo for extra durability.
The pretty checked design on this easy-to-clean placemat uses shades of sunny yellow and white to bring on the brightness when the weather gets warm.
This heavy-duty concrete dining table is made of acacia wood tinted gray to resemble teak, but it’s much more durable and weather-resistant.
Crate & Barrel’s spring 2024 collection is classic, yes there are some trend-led elements in there but the neutral color scheme and all those lovely textures are never going to date. It's the perfect range to bring a touch of European chic to your yard.
