When are the best times to shop at Wayfair?

Wayfair is pretty good at spoiling us with plenty of major sales throughout the year. Spring Cyber Week happened in March, the Big Outdoor Sale event occurred in April, as did Way Day. The Fourth of July and Black Friday in July sales brought us loads of deals, and Labor Day brought tons of end-of-summer discounts.

As we head into fall, Wayfair has lots of outdoor discounts as well as spotlight sales here and there.

Is Wayfair a good place to buy outdoor furniture?

The short answer is: yes. Wayfair's product offering of outdoor furnishings and decor is huge, meaning there is usually something for everyone in all sizes, colors, and styles.

As for the long answer: it's important to be picky, pay attention to material descriptions, and read reviews. Since outdoor furniture will spend most of the year outside, it's important to make sure each product is made with the best and most durable materials – like teak or acacia wood, UV and weather-resistant fabrics, or rust-proof metal. Reviews can often times do a better job than a product description of informing you about a product you find, so make note of what previous purchasers have said.

Wayfair isn't always the easiest retailer to navigate, simply because of the thousands of outdoor products offered. However, at Homes & Gardens, we take time to comb through the site in order to find the best pieces for your backyard.

What is Wayfair's rewards program, and should I join?

Wayfair Rewards is a $29 annual membership that provides members with exclusive perks, including free shipping on all orders, 5% back in rewards on eligible purchases, access to members-only deals, and more. If you are a frequent Wayfair shopper, it's definitely a good idea to join Wayfair Rewards. The annual membership fee is very affordable, and with so many perks and access to exclusive discounts, joining Wayfair Rewards is definitely worth it in the long run.

Once you've refreshed your outdoor space, it's time to turn your attention to your interiors. I've spent hours shopping the Wayfair sale to bring you the deepest discounts on furniture, decor, and appliances from your favorite brands such as Martha Stewart and Magnolia Home, so be sure to check it out.
