Richly layered, vintage-inspired, full of character – these are just a few words that describe the aesthetic of homewares brand, GreenRow. It's a look that resonates with many, and now, it's a look we can experience in its entirety – at GreenRow’s newly redesigned lakefront cottage at Serenbe.

Set on two thousand acres of countryside land just outside of the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia, Serenbe is the definition of escape. It's a transportive, wellness-focused retreat that invites you to slow down, reflect, and relax. GreenRow's heritage-inspired homewares have a way of doing that, too, which is why a quaint lake house designed entirely with GreenRow decor on the grounds of Serenbe just made sense.

The house itself – a charming, 4-bed, 4-bath lakefront cottage drenched in GreenRow's signature heritage maximalism look – is 'the ultimate expression of the brand,' Jaimee tells me. 'From the wallpaper to the curtains to the choices of furniture, the rooms are layered, collected, and joyful.'

'When I visited the lake house for the first time, I thought it was beautiful and had great bones, but it was a bit dark inside,' Jaimee explains. 'I felt like we could bring the outdoors in with color and pattern.' Starting with the walls, Jaimee introduced GreenRow's Marcie Wallpaper to the home – a repetitive, stamp-like design that features blue floral motifs on a white background. It's this wallpaper that sets the scene for the living room, dining area, and kitchen, acting as a playful neutral upon which more color and pattern can be layered.

The main living space is the heart of this home, and its assortment of heritage-inspired GreenRow decor makes it feel as if it's been developed over time rather than newly refurbished. Every detail – from the larger furnishings like the Stella Spindle Leg Extending Dining Table to the smaller decorations like the Lula Belle Hand-Painted Butter Dish – plays a role in giving this space its undeniable sense of character and its charmingly lived-in appeal.

While every bedroom at GreenRow's lake house is just as richly layered and collected as the next, each boasts a distinct look – driven by its pattern and color palette. Plus, each bedroom features a new wallpaper style from GreenRow, too. The Petit Fleur Suite, for instance, invites guests in with its yellow, green, and brown color scheme. Tiny floral motifs grace the walls on the Petit Fleur Wallpaper, while heritage plaids add dimension against the windows in the form of Woven Valence Drapes.

The Cherry Room, which happens to be Jaimee's favorite room, is warm, welcoming, and high-spirited – all thanks to the stunning Ivory Cherries Wallpaper that covers its walls. The Hailey Gingham Curtain in maroon adds a layer of visual interest and charming appeal, as does the Betty Remnant Patchwork Quilt that drapes across the bed. 'You walk into that room and immediately smile,' Jaimee remarks of the Cherry Room.

As for the other two rooms, they also embody Greenrow's pattern-driven design aesthetic – one vibrantly drenched in every form of GreenRow's Narcissus print and the other grounded with the deep blue Floral Scallop Wallpaper. Together, these four guest suites make the lake house even more of an immersive experience – allowing you to rest in a room that feels like it's from another era.

The GreenRow Lake House at Serenbe feels collected rather than overly styled – a balance that's not always easy to strike when layering prints, patterns, and colors in a singular space. So as you transform your home into your own version of GreenRow's Lake House, consider Jaimee's advice: 'Find pieces you love and incorporate them into your space over time. I love mixing vintage finds with new pieces, and don’t be afraid to mix and match. There is no formula for beauty and comfort, it’s how the space makes you feel.'
