Joanna Gaines’ new Target drop has everything you need for a stylish Easter weekend outdoors – I’m shopping her affordable pieces to prep for summer
From dinnerware to lawn games and outdoor movie night gear, here’s what I’m shopping from Joanna Gaines’ latest Hearth & Hand drop at Target

I love to entertain outdoors the moment the weather allows, and I've been eagerly hunting for some affordable pieces to refresh my patio and backyard ahead of the Easter weekend. Thankfully, Joanna Gaines heard my plea.
By this point, you'll love and know her beloved Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia collection at Target. Filled with budget-friendly buys to help you get her iconic style for less, she does regular drops of new-in, sure-to-sell-out pieces. And her latest launch is packed with beautifully curated outdoor decorating trends.
From family-friendly lawn games (that actually look chic) to outdoor-safe tablescaping pieces and cozy finds to help you set up for an al fresco movie night, this collection will turn your backyard into the go-to hosting spot this season.

The great thing about this collection is that it isn't just about a few throw pillows and lanterns to update your garden patio. Whether you’re planning a laid-back brunch in the garden, a playful egg hunt or sports day with the kids, or a relaxed movie night under the stars, this new Hearth & Hand drop has a way of making your plans feel extra special and extra stylish.
And, of course, it’s all designed with the signature modern farmhouse, lived-in Joanna Gaines aesthetic. My cart is filling up fast, so here are my favorite picks from the new collection that I'm shopping to refresh my patio ahead of summer – just in time for the Easter holiday.
As I've mentioned, this collection features this lovely multi-color plaid pattern throughout, and these napkins are a great way to introduce its timeless print. You can also shop the matching Melamine Plates or pick up the Stripe & Plaid Paper Plates for picnics.
Of course, the drop has plenty of pretty pillows, including this modern plaid finished with a bold scalloped edge, which is available in pink too. It's outdoor suitable, and I'd love to see it styled with the Cool Tone Plaid Fringe Throw Blanket on a reading chair outdoors.
Among the lovely accessories is this handy, sandy-colored ottoman that has been elevated with a stripe and green edging. Perfect for lounging, it is weather-, UV-, and water-resistant, and you can shop the matching Armless Outdoor Patio Cushion Chair, too.
There are lots of vintage-style rattan serving pieces in this collection, including the Woven Paper Wrapped Metal Ice Bucket, but I'm personally after this drink dispenser for serving up cold beverages and cocktails at my backyard BBQs.
A stand-out piece from the collection is this light blue portable projector that Joanna designed to help you make the most of your summer nights. It can project up to four meters with a 1280 x 720 picture resolution, and I'd recommend the Tripod Manual Projector Screen from the collection too.
I’ve already added a few of these pieces to my own patio setup (the Cabana stripe pillows had to come home with me), and I know I’ll be using them well beyond the Easter weekend. If you’re thinking of giving your backyard a summer-ready reset, now’s the perfect time to shop before these bestsellers are gone.
