I've worked in both fashion and interiors, here's why I'm obsessed with the latest Rhode + West Elm collaboration
Sunnier days are ahead thanks to the return of the Rhode + West Elm collaboration. Act quick, 2023's was a sell-out success
West Elm are officially kicking off the summer months with their second installment of the sunniest collaboration with Los Angeles-based fashion label Rhode.
After the sell-out success of last year's collection, the Rhode + West Elm collab is back with 73 fresh new products that are equally as floral and fanciful as 2023's line-up. 'We are so pleased to bring back RHODE + West Elm,” says West Elm’s president, Day Kornbluth. 'The new collection includes the most-loved pieces from last year along with new fresh prints and patterns for a bright summer assortment.'
As a long-term fan of fashion designers Purna Khatu and Phoebe Vickers, the women behind this covetable fashion brand, I couldn't be more excited to invite some of their most beloved vintage-inspired prints into my home.

For those unfamiliar with the vacation-ready brand Rhode, their motto is 'sunshine never goes out of style'.
Founded by two best friends, Phoebe Vickers and Purna Khatau, they set out to create an optimistic collection bursting with energy and a vibrant curiosity to discover, relax and enjoy. Sounds rather lovely, doesn't it? Today the brand is worn by fashionable women the world over, and celebrated for its prints and signature styles that are bold yet ready to throw-on-and-go.
Fans of last year’s collaboration – I hope you managed to secure some pieces before they sold out – will be happy to see the return of signature scallops, block prints, and ruffles in 2024's offering.
'We embedded the playful Rhode spirit into even more decor staples to mix and match,' explains Purna.

There's so much to choose from: wallpaper (new for 2024), bathroom accessories (there's a shower curtain that's sure to turn some heads), bedding, tableware, and darling decor. Each piece feels bespoke as a stand-alone or pairs vibrantly as a collection.
Once you sift through my edit of the best 12 picks from the collection, I'm sure you'll get on board too. With palettes and patterns designed to be mixed and matched, you can be free to fill your basket with goodies to fill every room of your home, safe in the knowledge that they'll pair perfectly.

They call the mustard hue of these 100% cotton floral bed sheets 'dijon', which pairs perfectly with neutrals for a summer bedroom upgrade or can be layered up with further print from the collab.
The whimsical floral pattern of this pillow cover comes complete with a mustard striped edge and with bright stripes on the reverse. This is set to be a popular piece from this collection.
I love this woven little wicker tray that the team collaborated on to be a 'bed tray' - aka perfect for breakfast and reading in bed. Bliss.
Designed to add whimsy to even the most basic of tablescapes, these stripy and ruffled placemats can be mixed and matched with the other table linens and tableware for a decadent dinner. Plus they're $60 for four, making them just $15 each.
Available in green, yellow, and this freshwater blue, the wiggle pillow will add a playful touch to any sofa or bed. It has been made from soft, long-lasting cotton and hand embroidered by skilled artisans in India.
The Mushroom quilt brings the beauty of Rhode's beloved prints to the bedroom. It's cool-to-the-touch making it perfect for summer. And it's reversible.
Yes this is just a shower curtain, but I'm really excited about this. Shower curtains are big news in bathroom trends for 2024, and this ruffled, floral, delphinium blue on is at the top of my wish list.
A new addition to the collaboration for 2024 is wallpaper. This Begonia style is twee with vintage charm yet still manages to feel contemporary.
The print is of course gorgeous, but the real standout of this lampshade to me is the bubbly scalloped shape. It's compatible with multiple table lamp bases meaning you can quickly upgrade an old lamp for instant impact.
The collection has a seriously great tableware offering. My favorites are these ruffle-edged, vintage-inspired floral side plates that are both microwave and dishwasher-safe.
The new and improved Rhode + West Elm collaboration blends cottagecore and Californian casual ease in a much more afforable manner than the brand's fashion pieces. Playing with print and color, scallops, ruffles, and wiggles, this is collection is a summer's dream. Run, don't walk to the checkout.
