Growing up in an Iranian household meant lots of amazing food, and two large kitchen cabinets full of herbs and spices. It’s an obsession I’ve carried over into my own home, with just one snag: I’ve run out of space for my collection in my small kitchen.

That’s why these adhesive spice clips, available from Amazon have been a lifesaver, allowing me to use the wasted space inside other cabinet doors to double my herb storage.

It’s helped keep my spices organized and is a cheap and renter-friendly fix if you’re facing a similar shortage.

Adhesive spice clips doubled my storage

I like these as they take just a few seconds to install. Simply pull off the backing on the adhesive strip, push firmly onto the surface. That’s it. I usually leave these types of adhesive additions on for 24 hours before loading them up, whether it’s my Joseph Joseph pan lid holders, or my drill-free bathroom caddy, so that they stay firmly put once loaded. I’ve never had any of them fall down with this method.

It’s an item marked as 'Amazon’s Choice', which is a label that retailers and resellers cannot pay to use on the site. It’s awarded only by Amazon when an item is well-rated by customers, is usually in stock, and has a low rate of returns or complaints. It’s a label worth trusting.

Verified shopper Kellie rated these spice clips five stars, labeling her review as ‘what a great way to store my spices.’ She explains, ‘The sticky portion is very sticky and after one year still adheres very well. I like how I can organize and store my spices at my fingertips just inside my cupboard door. I'd definitely purchase this product again.’

I can vouch for the same, as mine have been firmly stuck inside my lower cabinet for easy access next to my stove for more than four years and are still going strong.

G Kuspa adds, ‘We have very shallow cupboards and no room for a countertop spice rack. The spices took up a lot of the space and weren’t very organised. I found these, and they are a good solution. They are easy to install and resize, and very easy to fit your place.

'Very strong adhesive so far, been about 1 week. The larger grill seasoning bottles will not fit and will eventually pop out of the holder, the size of a large allspice container is about the max they can handle. Was a very good buy.’

I agree with G Kuspa as when I have been using mine, herbs and spices pots are fine, but heavier items such as sauce will not stay in the holder.
