I'm 5ft2 and this telescopic scrubber safely and easily banished mold and grime in even the hardest-to-reach areas of my bathroom in less than 15 minutes
My bathroom has never looked better thanks to this handy $16 two-in-one tool from Joseph Joseph

As much time and effort as I put into cleaning my bathroom weekly, unfortunately, discoloration, mold, and general grime appear to be inevitable re-occurrences. And, at only 5ft 2 inches tall, as much as tackling areas down low is my forte, reaching up high can be a real difficulty to do safely and effectively.
That was until I tried this CleanTech™ 2-in-1 Tile Scrubber Tool available at Joseph Joseph. At only $16, it has completely transformed how I clean my bathroom, and now, even the hard-to-reach areas are just as sparkling as my floors.
Why I love my CleanTech™ 2-in-1 Tile Scrubber Tool
All were prices correct at the time of publication.
This is my new favorite tile scrubbing tool, suitable for flooring, showers, backsplashes and more. While I primarily use mine in the bathroom, this can also be used on kitchen tiles and grout, or anywhere else around the home.
I recently tried this ingenious and essential cleaning tool everyone needs as part of the entire CleanTech Joseph Joseph kit, and, really, what's not to love? Joseph Joseph always seem to be ahead of the game when it comes to designing products that really solve a common household nuisance, and, this time, they've hit the nail on the head.
To me, the best thing about this unassuming scrubbing brush is its versatility, and the way it makes adopting a 15 minute bathroom cleaning and organizing routine easy.
When putting it to the test, I began by using it to scrub my floors, a hapless task that usually takes me a long time, and often leaves my tiles still discolored, water-stained, and streaky. But, not this time.
With a simple bucket of Flash Clean & Shine All Purpose Cleaner Lemon available at Amazon and warm water, this tile scrubber, which I was using attached to the $10 CleanTech™ Telescopic Extension Pole, available at Joseph Joseph and sold separately, or included as part of the Joseph Joseph CleanTech 6-Piece Cleaning Set available at Amazon, made cleaning my tile floors and getting into corners and crevices a breeze, leaving them noticeability spotless and bright.
I was even able to reach under my clawfoot bathtub and successfully give it a really good scrub, something which I'm ashamed to say I really don't do often enough.
Chiana Dickson, content editor on Solved also uses a tough and durable, bristled brush to get her bathroom tiles gleaming. She says, 'I used to always use a traditional bucket and mop, until I realized how much more effective a brush is for deep cleaning. It's so much easier to lift out deep-set grime, and surprisingly effective for cleaning the floor without streaks, too.'
The CleanTech™ 2-in-1 Tile Scrubber Tool is seen here, top left. I have also tried all the other attachments and tools in my bathroom, and thoroughly recommend them all.
I had similarly brilliant results when cleaning my shower, effortlessly scrubbing the tiles on the floor and walls, made easy by the telescopic pole, which extends from 24 inches up to 33.5.
I just used the same Flash and water solution, but you could definitely use a shower-specific product, such as the bestselling Clean Shower Daily Shower Cleaner available at Walmart, or a product that specifically targets mold, such as the Clorox Plus Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover Bathroom and Shower Cleaner Spray, also available at Walmart. Even without one, though, it was so easy to clean mold in the shower, and banish any flourishing pink mold.
For me, this scrubbing tool attached to to the telescopic pole is especially genius, as, for once, I was also able to clean up high and get rid of bathroom ceiling mold on my own, and comfortably and quickly remove mold from my shower caulking without the need for excessive scrubbing.
While there are plenty of good scrubbing cleaning brushes, such as the Great Value Tile & Grout Brush available at Walmart, the beauty in the CleanTech™ 2-in-1 Tile Scrubber Tool lies in its adaptability, as with a simple click the brush reduces to half its size, becoming a narrow crevice brush that's perfect for cleaning grout.
So, for people who struggle, or have struggled, to find the best way to clean shower grout, clean grout in floor tiles, and get their bathroom looking beautiful in general, look no further. Mold, staining and discoloration lifted off almost instantly from all surfaces and areas, and I can genuinely say that my bathroom has never looked better.
What to shop
This is the Joseph Joseph set I've been testing and loving, which includes absolutely everything I need to turn my bathroom into a clean and sanitized haven, from removing that pesky soap scum line on my tub to tackling hidden dirt and grime around my faucets.
This brush is truly a game changer for scrubbing any awkward areas, like around faucets or plugs, or small but stubborn stains and areas of discoloration. It features an easy-grip handle and an integrated scraper, for easy removal of limescale and grime build-up.
This is my tile scrubber, but just bear in mind that this doesn't include the CleanTech™ Telescopic Extension Pole, available for purchase separately at Joseph Joseph. It can also be used handheld.
For real and recurring problem areas, the SonicScrubber bathroom hero has become such a staple for contributing editor Rebecca Shepherd that she boldly states she'll 'never use another tool' on her grout again.
