This tiered Joseph Joseph dish rack solved the constant sink-side traffic jam in my kitchen
I wish I’d swapped to it sooner

My kitchen sink is in constant use and the hand cleaning my husband does to supplement our endless roll of dishwasher cycles means our dish rack is always full.
Add to that our busy eight-year-old who loves crafting and painting, and there was an endless chaotic pile-up next to the sink that our single layer dish rack couldn’t handle. We expanded our dish-drying space with a kitchen cloth, but I was tired of giving up my coveted countertop space for it!
That’s why this two-tiered Joseph Joseph dish rack, available at Wayfair, has been a double-decker delight – I only wish I’d swapped to this small kitchen storage idea sooner.
Why I love the Joseph Joseph two-tier dish rack
This spacious two-tiered dish rack has banished the mess I was dealing with sink-side, by going vertical to optimize space to dry our crockery, cups, cutlery and wine glasses.
It was quick to put together – taking just five minutes with an easy-to-follow five-step instruction panel on the box with graphics. As with every other household Joseph Joseph item I own, it’s high quality, sturdy, and slick looking and going vertical is a brilliant kitchen sink organizing rule I swear by.
Going for a two-tier dish rack means we’re now using vertical storage to save space next to my sink, rather than our dishes encroaching on nearby counters for a makeshift additional drying space.
The Joseph Joseph two-tier dish rack has maximized my kitchen countertop space as we no longer have to use a cloth to air dry any crockery overflow.
This two-tier dish rack also means it’s easier to put away things or reach smaller items as they’re not tripled stacked on top of each other. I pop my cups and smaller items underneath, plates and larger items on top, and the dedicated clip on cutlery draining box doesn’t tip over like my previous one as it’s firmly fastened to the side.
It has a handy draining spout into the sink to avoid a common household leak and a water catcher under the wine glass rack to avoid drips on the floor or counter. There isn’t a single needed function this two-tiered dish rack doesn’t cover.
I give it a 10/10! I only wish I'd done it sooner.
Dish drying essentials
Keep your sink-side countertops tidy by using vertical space for drying hand washed crockery and more.
If you need more dish drying space, here are some essentials I love the look and functionality of.
If you don't want to go upwards, extend outwards with this versatile dish drying rack, also from Joseph Joseph. It has a movable cutlery holder to suit your sink and counter design and comes in three colorways.
This two-tier rack is handy because you can easily access all of the lower layer. The top rack is narrower, and is specifically for dinner and side plates, while the space below can be used to stack items or air dry pots, pans and other larger things.
Non toxic
Keep things simple and streamlined sink side with a large silicone drying rack. When it's time for a clean, it's dishwasher safe for ease and speed.
For more ways to maximize kitchen storage, consider the in-door adhesive pot holders I tried and loved, also from Joseph Joseph – it banishes cabinet chaos.
