Drew Barrymore has designed homeware we 'don't often see' – and these stand-out pieces are discounted now
Actress, talk-show host, furniture designer: Barrymore is changing how we decorate, and the process begins with these reduced furnishings
What made Drew Barrymore – the figure who is so synonymous with the screen – turn to furniture design? 'I decided... to create something unique that is different from other products on the market,' Barrymore says in an exclusive interview with H&G.
In 2021, alongside entrepreneur Shae Hong, Barrymore launched her Beautiful brand, and in the last three years, it has evolved to cover everything from kitchen essentials to that accent chair. While the products available have changed with time, Barrymore's ideology remains the same: she wanted to create the things she 'wanted to see in the world' – and, ahead of Memorial Day, they're more accessible than ever.
Among our stand-out favorite deals is a fluted cabinet that makes TV storage stylish (really) and an open bookcase that's versatile enough to work in even the smallest of apartments. These pieces are reduced now (so why wait until Memorial Day itself?). Happy shopping.
Beautiful by Drew Barrymore – H&G's top Memorial Day picks
TV storage has a way of splitting opinions among designers, with some suggesting the feature can be an eye sore. However, this couldn't be further from the truth with Barrymore's fluted stand. Designed for TVs up to 70”, this warm honey-hued piece has a retro minimalist aesthetic that's almost too good-looking to be practical.
The perfect bookcase for homes where space is at a premium: the open-plan design means it's perfect for storage and display while being notably more versatile than built-in shelves. We also think it would look great in an entryway, where we can create the right first impression with the pieces that matter to us.
Rattan has transcended fleeting trends for years, and it's easy to understand its longevity. This effortlessly chic design feels mid-century but modern and translates to rooms of every style, whether we're minimalist or love flirting with indulgent patterns and colors. It's almost too beautiful to cover with coffee table essentials.
Described as a 'kitchen island', this cart has changed how we store things in our home. It features a butcher-block top, racks to store glassware, and shelves for stocking products or cookbooks. The best part? Is it’s on wheels, so we can move it around whenever necessary.
Soft yet modern, this cornflower blue dinner set is the answer to our entertaining dreams. It's made from durable, high-quality stoneware and designed to enliven our tabletop – complete with an embossed dot border frame and a semi-matte finish that makes our place settings easy and beautiful.
Providing a perfect spot to place a statement lamp, hold our favorite book, or a vase of seasonal blooms, this table is the perfect base for whatever we want to showcase in a room. The table's lower shelf is an additional standout feature, offering extra storage and display space.
