There is nothing chicer than ignoring trends and scenting your home exactly how you want. That's why, this fall, we're throwing convention to the wind, and opting for more experimental, unusual fragrances than your typical pumpkin spice candle. Chrissy Teigen designed just the thing.

We recently came across the Simmer Down Scented Candle in Tangy Tomato on Chrissy's website, Cravings, and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. The sweet, tangy, grassy fragrance evokes visions of Italy in a chic glass vessel. It's absolutely stunning, and one of our top picks for a fall candle.

Though tomato scents are typically associated with summer, there's something inherently uplifting about bringing freshness and vibrancy into your home as it gets colder outside. As opposed to other seasonal ingredients like citrus, tomatoes pair their brightness with earthy undertones that make it instantly grounding. Though unusual, it feels completely appropriate for autumn.

Part of what makes us so sure this candle is one of the best ways to make your home smell like fall is that its reviews speak for themselves. One particularly keen consumer writes: 'I’m a candle connoisseur so for me to give 5 stars is a big deal! This is such a great fragrance (even though I wasn’t so sure just based on the name, I’m glad I gave it a shot! The candle burns evenly and nicely, and I’m about to make my third purchase of this fragrance in particular.'

Given that it sounds like one of the best candles overall, we're keen to try this scent for the season.
