Every few months, Drew Barrymore releases yet another dreamy colorway into the world. Via her 'Beautiful' collection, the actress-turned-designer has blessed us all with a soft Hydrangea Blue, matte Porcini Taupe, and muted twist on Sage Green – and every time, I believe they can't get any better. It lives up to its beautiful namesake. It's the color she launched to celebrate her birthday, which makes it all the more fitting, since it's the exact shade of sweet vanilla icing.
While the entirety of the collection (available at Walmart) is worth re-arranging your countertops for, Buttercream is the first shade chic enough for me to renounce my minimalism. I am not alone in my love for this shade.
'Buttercream feels completely of the moment for 2026 because it balances warmth and serenity, soft enough to feel modern and minimal yet rich enough to bring a sense of comfort into the kitchen,' comments our Kitchens Appliances Editor Chiana Dickson.
'Drew's appliances are celebrated not just for their functionality but for their ability to turn everyday cooking into a moment of beauty. Each piece is like a small design icon, and in Buttercream, they become almost edible art. It is a color that invites you in, makes you linger, and makes every countertop feel curated without effort.'
With Drew Barrymore's thoughtful touches and instantly iconic appliances, it turns even the simplest kitchen moments into something you want to linger over. This is one hue that deserves a permanent place on your countertop – it'd be rude not to celebrate Drew's birthday, after all.
