This is the exact Dutch oven Eva Longoria uses for seasonal soups – it's on sale now
Eva Longoria uses a cherry red Le Creuset to make soup, which functions just as much as decor as it does an essential kitchen accessory
If there were a celebrity of Dutch ovens, Le Creuset would be it. The tried and true cooking accessory, which is as chic as it is long-wearing, is practically a status symbol of a kitchen accessory, with many coveting the brand.
Eva Longoria is among their fans, having recently shared a clip to Instagram of herself making white pozole in her cherry red Le Creuset.
While the Le Creuset comes in a range of colors including black, white, orange, and teal, we love how the Cerise shade taps into the unexpected red theory, providing a decorative element to any stovetop as well as countless technical benefits. The best part? It's on sale on Amazon now for $315.

A beloved classic for a reason, this 5.5 quart Dutch oven comes in an unmissably bold red, while the model features ergonomic handles, a tight-fitting lid, and a stainless steel knob, all of which optimize the cooking process.
A staple for making warming, seasonally-appropriate meals, such as soups and stews, the Le Creuset's reputation certainly precedes it; however, there are some alternatives that experts also enjoy and recommend.
'I love using my Dutch oven for easy, one-pot recipes,' Lydia Hayman, Homes & Gardens' kitchen appliances editor states. 'It’s my savior in wintertime. The enamel surface helps to achieve a lovely, brown sear on meat: adding flavor to hearty chillis, beef bourguignon, or chicken casserole. Personally, I have a Staub dish, which I use to make delicious Spanish chicken and rice. I brown the chicken first to get a delicious fond on the bottom of the pan. Then, I deglaze it with wine and add saucy tomatoes, broth, and rice. The best part is you can put the entire dish in the oven and cover it with a lid, so the flavors can gently infuse.'
However, there are some preventative measures to be mindful of before you even consider how to clean an enameled cast iron pan – and it starts with how you cook.
'My top tip for using the Dutch oven is to use a generous amount of oil and cook on a medium-low heat, so you don’t get burnt bits stuck on the bottom,' Hayman suggests. 'Also, remember to use oven gloves on those handles when you’re lifting it out of the oven!'
