Hailey Bieber's curvaceous toaster is an Italian design staple (with roots in the 1950s) – it blends retro style with modern capabilities
This toaster has stood on the countertops of 'It girls' since the '50s, and Hailey Bieber has just resurged the trend – you can follow suit for $250

Trust Hailey Bieber to turn a toaster into one of 2025's most fashionable accessories. While some kitchen appliances are famed for their functionality, Hailey has reminded us that we don't need to sacrifice aesthetics to enjoy perfect toast – and of course, her unintentional endorsement involves one of the most stylish appliance companies in the industry: Smeg.
We spotted Smeg's 50s Retro 2 Slice Toaster in a recent photo roundup on Hailey's Instagram. It sits on her neutral countertops alongside the Breville Barista Touch coffee maker (available at Amazon), and some white mugs and plates on the shelf above.
A scroll through the photos in Hailey's post emphasizes her eye for aesthetics (shout out to that Pierre Paulin sofa in her and Justin's living room). It's only right, therefore, that her toaster maintains her style. Her Smeg toaster (available at Amazon) is curvaceous and retro, with a premium gloss finish synonymous with the Italian brand.
Smeg's four-slice toaster features two long, extra-wide bread slots to toast everything from baguettes to artisan sourdoughs. It features six browning levels, allowing you to achieve the perfect level for your tastes. Plus, if you’re partial to a bagel, or even cheese on toast, the bagel function browns just one side of the bread without toasting the other.
Hailey Bieber could have her pick of any of the best toasters on the market, but our kitchen appliances editor, Lydia Hayman, understands the model's choice. 'Smeg toasters, like all appliances from this brand, are beloved for their retro good looks, so I am not surprised to see Hailey choose something so aesthetic. She's famous for that 'clean girl' look, and her impeccable kitchen countertops pay homage to this,' Lydia says.
'Style aside, the functionality of this toaster is hard to beat. It's equipped with multi-function control, allowing you to reheat, defrost, or unfreeze frozen slices of bread. As someone who loves awkwardly shaped sourdough, I also love how it's designed with two large bread slots, meaning you can toast any bread, whatever the size.'

You can create a Hailey-inspired kitchen corner in ways beyond the toaster. We love these classic white dishware, similar to the one we saw on her shelves, and of course, her go-to coffee machine (that's an exact match).
Ideal for all your hot drinks, this set of stackable cups looks beautiful in any coffee station. The natural glaze and neutral hues enhance the relaxing rituals of coffee. They're available in a set of four, so they're perfect for when you have guests around for a drink.
This coffee maker, as seen on Hailey's countertops, creates 'third wave specialty coffee at home,' turning beans to espresso in under one minute. We love how, with one touch, it delivers the right amount of coffee on demand, with maximum flavor.
A beautifully made set of white plates can be brought out for every occasion, but they look just as perfect on your kitchen shelves. This design has a classic indent design around the rim for a timeless finish.
