When you combine considered materials, rich histories, and sumptuous textiles, you can create an outdoor space that feels like a true extension of the home. When Pamela Anderson teamed up with Olive Ateliers, she brought this vision to life.
Pamela worked with the renowned studio on their Spring collection, 'The Sentimentalist,' to build furnishings reflecting a relationship with objects worn into familiarity.
The inspiration for this outdoor furniture comes from Anderson's memories of her Grandmother’s farm along the Salish Sea. Pieces are crafted with natural rattan, solid teak, and performance fabric for a collection that is as durable as it is stylish includes loungers, reading chairs with matching ottomans, generous settees, dining chairs and tables, woven coffee and side tables, stools, baskets, a dog bed, and softly curved armchairs, with upholstered pieces paired with fabrics in a mixed blue stripe or classic ivory.

Pamela states: 'I grew up by the sea. I remember our tiny cabin on the dock, the wood turned silver from years of salt and weather. I’ve always been drawn to things that age and soften; furniture that holds you at dawn, that grows more beautiful the more you live with it. The best pieces become part of your rituals. When I met Olive Ateliers a couple of years ago, I recognized that same reverence for imperfection and sentiment. They don’t chase design trends; they honor time. This collection feels like home to me. It’s unpretentious, a little French, a little wild. It’s meant to be used, worn in, and lived with.'

Kendall Knox, Co-Founder & Chief Brand Officer of Olive Ateliers explaint the materials and choices for the collection. She states: 'Pamela and I are both innately nostalgic. We’ve connected over the rituals that shape our days: jazz, time in the garden, and a deep appreciation for objects with history. When we chose to embark on our first-ever design collaboration, it had to be with someone we truly admired, someone whose presence has remained timeless by staying entirely authentic.'
She continues: 'The Sentimentalist feels like the most natural reflection of that shared sensibility, unfussy and romantic. Each piece is designed to age beautifully, to hold you, to know you, to feel like a deep, unspoken exhale.' This sentiment comes through in the use of natural rattan and stylish teak.
Laura Sotelo, Co-Founder & Chief Merchandising Officer advises: 'We wanted the pieces to feel instantly familiar, like they’ve already been part of your story. We chose natural rattan and teak because they’re so beautifully shaped by light, exposure, and time. It moves easily from sunrooms and sitting rooms to porches, parlors, gardens, and the quiet spaces in between.'

The pieces are seamlessly styled with a variety of textiles. I love the look of rattan paired with crisp linen. On a tablescape, it would also be beautiful with cut glassware for a stunning contrast between laid back style and luxury.
Everything Pamela Anderson touches seems to turn to gold, and this gorgeous collection with Olive Ateliers is no exception. The combination of beautiful materials and philosophy cannot be beaten.
