Some things are just classics: green smoothies and Legally Blonde come to mind. These might be seemingly unrelated, but Reese Witherspoon recently shared a clip of her go-to smoothie, and we couldn't help but admire the vibrant green color, in addition to noticing her blender.

Reese uses a Vitamix, one of the best blenders on the market, beloved by celebrities and smoothie enthusiasts alike. And while Reese uses an old model (the 200 Blender, to be exact, which launched in 2014), it's a staple in many houses for a reason.

'My mom has had hers for about seven years, and it still works beautifully,' says Homes & Gardens' kitchens editor Lydia Hayman.

'She uses it regularly for morning smoothies and desserts. When I went home for the holidays, I made an avocado chocolate mousse in it – it turned out smooth and airy.'

Lydia does note that this particular model works better for individual portions, like Reese's smoothie.

'The pitcher is quite tall and narrow, so I noticed some of the dessert got trapped beneath the blades,' she explains. 'It's not the best for smaller portions.'

With that in mind, we have rounded up some of our favorite Vitamix blenders, all of which are modern, sleek, and powerful.

They include the Vitamix 5200, which is a favorite among celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian, the powerhouse Vitamix Ascent A2300 (ideal for families), and last but not least, the Series 750 Blender, renowned for its self-cleaning capabilities. Regardless of your preferences, Vitamix is clearly a worthwhile investment, seeing as Reese is still using an older model.
