Sofia Richie's understated Los Angeles home is the epitome of 'quiet luxury' – the latest trend worth mastering
Internet sensation Sofia Richie Grainge, who took social media by storm following her elegant South of France wedding earlier this year, has shared a glimpse into her light and airy Los Angeles home
Having claimed the title of the ultimate It girl – regularly sharing insight into her beauty routine and crafting original fashion content – Sofia Richie Grainge has become a leading influence across the popular ‘quiet luxury’ trend. But it’s not only her refined sense of fashion that embodies the rising interior design trend, her pared-back and classical style extends to her choice of home decor, too.
The home, where Richie Grainge resides with husband and British music executive Elliot Grainge, is located in Brentwood Park, Los Angeles, and reportedly cost the couple over $26m. The space is traditional by design, featuring high ceilings and large windows to give a bright, spacious feel.

Opting for a fully neutral room color palette, the photo above of the dining area shows a blend of understated furniture with lots of soft, rounded edges to create a relaxed and comfortable space.
As seen in Richie Grainge’s home, adding subtle greenery through houseplants and table flowers is an effective way of bringing life to the room, making sure the neutral colors don’t end up feeling flat.
When committing to decorating with neutrals, another key design element to consider is the use of texture in interior design. The contrast of the solid wooden table with the boucle dining chairs creates balance and allows the pieces to still create impact and interest whilst color choices remain safe.
'While a neutral color palette is refined and elegant, experimenting with different textures can elevate a room further and give it more depth. Boucle is a hugely popular fabric this season, and we're seeing designers incorporate this into dining rooms to add softness to the space,' explains Homes and Gardens' deputy editor, Jennifer Ebert.
