Anne Hathaway's house from 'The Idea of You' is available on Airbnb – it's a rustic-chic retreat that's on-trend for 2024
We can now rent the home where Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine fell in love – and its interiors are as inspiring as we'd hoped

'The Idea of You' has made a huge splash as one of the most hotly anticipated rom-coms of 2024. From its star-studded cast to its conversation-provoking storyline, people can't seem to get enough of the film. While I expected to be captivated by the performances of Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine, I was pleasantly surprised by an additional stellar performance: the interior design in Solène's (Hathaway's character) home. Now, that house is available to rent on Airbnb.
The house, listed by superhosts Ann & Carson, is a treasure trove of interior design ideas. The open floor plan, ample natural light, and rustic craftsman details make this space the perfect vacation stay. The 'Idea of You' Airbnb has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, meaning it has ample room for up to six guests.
With interior design trends leaning into the cozy, lived-in feel of 'Rom-Com Interiors,' the 'Idea of You' house is a great place to look for inspiration. Etsy's 2024 Trend Report showed a huge increase in the search for 'cozy home items,' and this space certainly reflects that. It is unique, and full of character from the furnishings as well as the building itself.
Though the interiors are not the exact same as in the film, the warm wood, layered textiles, and abundance of natural light create the same cozy and inviting effect. Even though it is a vacation rental, it feels like a real home. From the green tiles on the living room fireplace to the patterned rugs in the dining room in the bedroom, the character of the space is apparent.
As showcased in these images, the home has all of the organic modern charm seen in the film. However there are a few key differences. Namely, the home is not actually situated in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, like in 'The Idea of You.' Instead, the house is in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia with easy proximity to the city's landmarks including Atlanta Beltline, Piedmont Park and Ponce City Market. If you're looking for a little bit of sun and experience of Southern American culture, this might just be the perfect spot.

Organic modern pieces echo the exposed beams in Solene's space. When layered together, they create a cozy, lived-in feel, not dissimilar to that created by the set designers in 'The Idea of You' film.
If you love interior design, romantic comedies, Anne Hathaway, boy bands, Nicholas Galitzine, Atlanta, or some combination, this vacation spot could be the perfect fit.
