This cookware is the star of Thomas Keller's Michelin-star kitchen – and it's nearly half the normal price right now
World-class chef-approved cookware has never felt more accessible – here's where to invest before the deal passes

When chef Thomas Keller puts his name to cookware, we can expect it to be among the best in the world – and with the quality comes an inevitable price tag that is usually unavoidable until now.
Thomas's Insignia 11 Piece Cookware Set – comprising the best non-stick frying pans and stainless steel sauciers on the market – has a firm place in his Michelin-star kitchens. Naturally, these professional pieces come with a price tag, but they're enjoying a considerable reduction this Black Friday – most notably on Wayfair, who have nearly halved their price for a limited time,

Designed by Thomas Keller, this set raises the bar for professional culinary performance. The pieces have bespoke handles to rest comfortably in our hands and significantly reduce heat transfer with the curated heat vents. The triple-bonded 18/10 stainless-steel construction also features Hestan’s exclusive pro-core aluminum delivers 35% greater heat conductivity.
It will come as no surprise that these pans are made from the highest quality stainless steel (hand-crafted in Italy, naturally). However, this isn't the only benefit that sets these pans aside.
According to the New York Times, the California-born chef insisted on pans that are more generous in circumference to suit larger burners in restaurant kitchens (and to accommodate the professional-style ranges that culinary enthusiasts often purchase). The range also features his signature wide, two-handled rondeau and a saucier, that was new to Hestan’s inventory at the time of launch.
'The problem I constantly faced with cookware, especially at home, was its variation in sizes,' Thomas comments.
'When collaborating with Hestan Culinary on my Insignia Collection, I looked to design cookware that nested together and would store both effectively and efficiently.'

We admit: we're wholly tempted by this collection, there's no better time to invest. However, if you're looking to organize your pots and pans without picking up a whole new collection, we recommend picking up another chef-approved pan – this time in the shape of Gordon Ramsay's favorite cookware.

The aptly named HexClad uses a hexagon design (created through a laser etching process) to provide both stainless steel and nonstick surfaces. This dual surface allows your pan to sear still while using less oil, grease, and butter – and places it firmly among the best non-stick frying pans available.
'The sear I can get with these pans is incredible, with absolutely no stick,' Gordon comments. 'The temperature control is utter perfection, and the clean-up is effortless.'
With such great cookware available, we really have no excuse not to up our culinary game.
