When it comes to our kitchens, it's easy to prioritize function over form, with the demands of busy mornings and mid-week dinners usually resulting in keeping decor to a minimum to prevent clutter.
But even in the most streamlined spaces, pretty kitchen appliances can be the perfect way to add a touch of whimsy to your home. That's why I'm calling it: 2026's cutest and enduring kitchen appliance trend is going to be the honeycomb and bee motifs that are sweeping across our favourite appliance and cookware brands.
Williams Sonoma's exclusive Honeycomb collection is no exception. It isn't just any theme drop; however, it is a wide-sweeping collab with some of our favorite brands, including SMEG, Le Creuset, KitchenAid, and Nordic Ware.
It's just in time for spring hosting, too.
Why I Love the Williams Sonoma Honeycomb Collection
The limited edition collaborations feature some of our favorite brands, including Le Creuset.
As Kitchen Appliances Editor, I spend all my working hours testing, finding, and learning about the latest kitchen additions to make your meal times run as smoothly as possible.
But I couldn't help but notice this emerging honeycomb trend, and Williams Sonoma is leading the charge, with some of the best cookware, going straight into my basket.
This spring, their exclusive Honeycomb range isn't just limited to plates and napkin rings. Rather, they have collaborated with big players in the appliance world to bring us the cutest bee-themed kettles, toasters, and stand mixers, too.

There really is something for every kitchen, whether you want to go all out into the country kitchen style and pick up some Williams Sonoma honeycomb porcelain canisters, the SMEG electric honeycomb kettle, or smaller accents, such as the honeycomb marble-handled salad servers or a set of two honeycomb hand towels.
With its honeycomb prints, bee embellishments, and gold touches bringing such a country-cottage feel, it's a trend that can endure, meaning your additions will be timeless and great for hosting and use all year round.

Appliances
The SMEG retro style kettle gets a new look with the honeycomb collection, adding a touch of whimsy to any kitchen, with a practical neutral palette, helping it to slot into any existing scheme. Better yet, it is completely BPA-free, making it the healthier, less-toxic option for your morning brew. For those in hard water areas, the SMEG kettle boasts a concealed heating element that prevents lime-scale buildup, and is crafted with stainless steel with a powder-coated enamel finish that resists scratches, stains, and corrosion.
With a matching bee and honeycomb motif, the two slot toaster makes a perfect pairing to the electric kettle. With six toasting levels, reheating, defrosting, and bagel functions too, it is the perfect practical pop of whimsy. Like the kettle, it is also made of steel with powder-coated enamel finish that resists scratches, stains and corrosion.
The 5Qt. KitchenAid is often touted as the best KitchenAid stand mixer, and has seen several special editions in the past. This rendition, with its adorable bee-hive-inspired bowl, looks like it has fallen straight from the pages of Winnie the Pooh. The warm honey-hued base is available with both the ceramic beehive bowl and the standard stainless steel bowl if you don't want to fully commit to the look. As with any KitchenAid, this model is also compatible with the sold-separately attachments such as the pasta rollers and cutters, making it a more-than-worthy investment for avid home cooks.
Kitchenware
Le Creuset sits in so many of our cookware buying guides, including the best Dutch oven and the best non-toxic cookware, and for good reason. It is incredibly well-made, lasts for decades, and always performs perfectly, offering evenly cooked dinners without harsh chemical coatings. The honeycomb theme adds something a little different to the traditional bold uniform colorways, and maintains the traditional Le Creuset look for those who are not as big a fan of the Modern Heritage redesign, which we reviewed (and adored).
If you love the trend right now, but don't want to commit to the whimsical look on your counters year-round, these sponge cloths are a subtle way to buy into the look while also banishing microplastics. These eco-friendly swaps are made from cellulose (wood pulp), meaning they are fully biodegradable and reusable. To sanitize between uses, simply toss in the top rack of your dishwasher or into your washing machine.
Handcrafted from solid marble, this hand-etched utensil holder is one of the more subtle additions from the honeycomb range and is a sturdy, practical addition to organize the area beside your stove. It's adorned with gold-tone stainless-steel and zinc honeybees.
We tested out the viral Nordic Ware pumpkin pans last fall and were blown away by how perfect the patterns are on resulting cakes, so long as you follow their clear rule of first applying a baking spray that contains flour (available at Target). For keep bakers and hosts who love the spring and summer season, this cake tin is a no-brainer, and is right at the top of my wish list for my annual Easter dinner.
A great choice for one-dish baking, serving, and storing, this vintage-inspired deep baker in the honeycomb pattern is part of the Le Creuset Heritage collection. The pan excels at everything from pasta dishes and casseroles to fruit cobblers and roasted vegetables, and its deep sides keep bubbling-hot contents safely contained. It is microwavable, oven, broiler, freezer, and dishwasher safe.
As someone who loves trying out new recipes, a book stand is an absolute must in my kitchen. This one is certainly on the pricier side, but the solid single slab marble, hand-carved base explains it. The metal stand accommodates books and tablets up to 2" thick, plus an acrylic shield protects books and tablets while keeping recipes visible – something desperately needed for anyone as clumsy as I am.
As with the rest of the stone in this honeycomb collection, these adorable table salt and pepper shakers are handcrafted from solid marble, making each shaker unique. Two subtle cast-zinc bees, plated with an antique brass finish, tie them into the bee trend without screaming 'theme-piece'.
These chargers are made from durable white porcelain with real gold rims, adding a shimmering touch to any table, any time of the year, be it sprucing up your spring or summer tablescaping, or channeling a bit of sparkle to your Christmas dinner. They are crafted in Portugal, and are dishwasher safe to make cleaning up after hosting a breeze.
This marble stand offers two functions: Stepping up to display snacks and baked treats when hosting, and working hard as extra vertical storage to save space in your cabinets or pantry. It is a versatile piece that will always serve a function in your kitchen, no matter the time of year. Each tier lifts out for easy cleaning, too.
Honeycomb accents aren't the only kitchen trends. For those looking to redesign their whole cook space this year, there are some interesting additions designers are urging you to consider for a timeless cooking space.
