Victoria Beckham 'goes back and forth' between these beloved candle fragrances – the luxe French brand is her 'go-to' for a reason
Why have one favorite candle when you can have two? Beckham's treasured scents come from a brand also loved by Brooke Shields and Kate Hudson

As a celebrity style editor, I love to see when a uniting theme emerges among the figures we often cover. Though these similarities are rare, they do happen – and most recently, it comes in the shape of a cult favorite candle brand.
In recent months and years, Diptyque has reinforced its power as a Parisian fragrance powerhouse – gripping celebrities far beyond its European base. It's responsible for some of the best candles you can buy, making them fixtures in some of the most beautiful homes on the planet. We've already written about Brooke Shields and Kate Hudson (the latter being particularly fond of the Eucalyptus scent), but now we've discovered Victoria Beckham is another long-time fan.
'Diptyque is my go-to candle brand – I go back and forth between Feu de Bois and Baies,' Beckham shared in an interview with Into The Gloss. Feu de Bois, meaning 'wood fire' in French, is a seasonal staple. It's the perfect scent for a cozy night inside, escaping the cooler climates. In comparison, Baies (meaning Berries) is a fruity –but nonetheless luxurious – scent that feels synonymous with fresher summer days.
If there's ever a candle to burn during the winter, it's this one. Diptyque designed Feu De Bois to mimic the dense, smoky notes of the logs as they are gradually consumed into a warming fireplace.
Tangy and herby, this fresh-picked blackcurrant candle is unlike any other. It is a harmonious fragrance that unites its flowery rose notes with the berry notes. Its beautiful container means it looks great on any shelf or coffee table (because who can really argue with Beckham's endorsement?
Feu de Bois represents warmth and coziness, while Baies is fresher, but of course, there are no rules regarding when you burn these candles. If you want to light Feu de Bois all summer long, then go for it – candles are made to make you happy, after all.
Alternatively, you can use these pieces to master fragrance layering – in which each room has its own dedicated scent specific to the mood and visuals of that space. When it comes to Beckham's choice, we recommend placing Feu de Bois in your living room, while Baies is better for an entryway or kitchen. To take things further yet, we're introducing more celebrity-approved Diptyque fragrances (including Hudson's Eucalyptus Classic Candle) below.
This slow-release candle is filled with the spa-like freshness of eucalyptus leaves, melding into an enchanting green forest. Plus, the recognizable glass holder looks beautiful on any shelf. An endorsement from Kate Hudson is just the cherry on top.
This gorgeous floral candle fills the room with romantic notes of jasmine. The notes that emerge are subtle yet persistent, tender yet sensual. What more could we want in a statement candle?
This full and rich candle evokes the feeling of walking through a budding rose garden in the spring. However, these flowery notes are unmistakable at any point of the year.
