Dulux has announced its 2027 Colour of the Year as ‘Soulful Sage’. Calming, restorative, and oh-so-versatile, this light and uplifting green offers an exciting glimpse at the colour trends set to dominate in 2027.

Soulful Sage sits at the heart of three new curated colour stories by Dulux: 'Glow', 'Light' and 'Lift'. Anchoring all three colour collections, Soulful Sage is described as 'an ethereal, soft and silvery green designed to help us ‘Live Lightly’'.

Soulful Sage captures that feeling beautifully; its soft, silvery quality brings a sense of lightness while retaining that reassuring connection to the natural world.'

As part of the Soulful Sage Colour of the Year announcement, Dulux has launched three accompanying colour stories: Glow, Light and Lift. 'Clay, terracotta, stone – these have been the building blocks of home for generations, and their colours feel authentic, familiar and comforting. Our Glow colour story combines these warm earth tones with uplifting lilac and the ethereal Soulful Sage to encapsulate cosiness.'

The Light Colour Palette

The Light palette has been designed to create a grounding and healing space, matching the light and breezy feel of Soulful Sage. 'Airy and understated, these neutral browns, greys and blues make the perfect backdrop for a simple, visually uncluttered scheme in any home. Our Light colour story combines these quiet, pale tones with darker shades and Soulful Sage for a pared-back, healing feel.'
