Jeremiah Brent and Crate & Barrel's latest collection has just dropped – 'The Collected Home' is a masterclass in character, contrast, and collected design
Without a singular design theme, 'The Collected Home' is proof that great design doesn't have to follow rules

'A collected home is one that feels distinct and unforced,' interior designer Jeremiah Brent muses. 'When you look around, you have a better understanding of who the person is and what they care about.'
For his newly released collection for Crate & Barrel, aptly titled The Collected Home, Jeremiah explored the idea of interiors as deeply personal spaces that are layered, curated, and, of course, collected. The collection itself isn't centered on a specific interior design trend – rather, it's an amalgamation of references, inspirations, and details that tell a story.
'These pieces were designed to evoke the feeling of a collection curated over decades,' Jeremiah explains. 'There's a variety of historic references from around the world mixed with conflicting design themes that, when paired, will create spaces that feel completely original.'
This series is brimming with all sorts of home decor, from large couches and accent chairs to curtains, rugs, and even vases. Aside from the themes of collection and curation, The Collected Home also embraces contrast in interior design. That idea is evident in the pieces themselves, like the distinct combination of materials on the Rhea Pouf, as well as the collection's overall unique blend of styles and references.
'The Collected Home was designed to feel unexpected – without a singular design theme, other than the deliberate juxtaposition of contrasting references,' Jeremiah tells me. 'My goal was to build a collection that inspires a sense of creativity and invites customers to embrace possibilities that extend beyond the trends of today.'

This is more than an accent chair – it's a statement chair. Its architectural lines tastefully contrast its soft and plush shearling fabrication, exemplifying the strong theme of contrast throughout the collection. Wherever you style it in your home, it's bound to become the main character.
From the soft pleated shade to the geometric base, this table lamp has a stylish art deco look to it. The pleated shade is made from linen, which exudes a soft and elegant light output. This shade covers the top of the lamp, as well. As for its geometric base, it features an array of tiny square cutouts, adding to its decorative appeal.
This ottoman might be one of my favorite pieces from this collection. Its sharp and angular metal base is stylishly juxtaposed with a long-haired shearling top surface. It can be used in a variety of different ways – as a proper ottoman, a footrest, or an extra seat. Regardless, this ottoman deserves to be the center of attention.
Here's another prime example of the contrast evident within the pieces of this collection. This end table elegantly blends rattan and iron to create a modern rustic design. Plus, it's texturally vibrant – from the tactile weave of the rattan to the smoothness of the iron base. But one of my favorite features of this end table is its soft close drawer – a true luxury.
Candle holders are having a major moment in design right now. There's something so romantic about setting a table with them, and letting the soft glow of a candle light up a room. This candle holder has space for five candles – it can easily become a stylish centerpiece for your dinner parties this fall.
This pedestal is sneaky – you'd never guess that it opens up to reveal three spacious shelves for storage. It's made from dark mahogany and walnut, has an octagonal base, and features stylishly ribbed panels. This storage pedestal would be an ideal accessory for dining rooms – use it to hide spare plates or table linens in a chic and stylish way.
I'm a sucker for embroidery, so this pillow is at the top of my wish list. It features a stylish abstract floral design, embroidered with muted neutrals that tastefully complement the dark green background. From its unique design to its rectangular shape, this pillow would certainly be a stylish addition to your couch.
Sold individually or in a set, these wall sconces are a timeless wall accessory. From their angular architectural frame to their soft pleated fabric shade, they can add dimension to your walls in the most graceful way. Plus, their light output is soft and stylish, creating an ambient glow wherever they're used.
From its deep color to its organic shape, this vase is a detail that can certainly add character and elegance to your home. According to Jeremiah, its design is inspired by antique Peruvian vases. Use it as a spot to hold fall foliage indoors, or let it serve as an elegant styling detail on a tabletop surface.
Despite contrasting references and the absence of a singular design theme, this collection is naturally united by timeless stylistic details – from the elevated material choices to the distinct color palette and overall sense of lived-in luxury.
And according to Jeremiah, there is no specific way to incorporate this collection in your home. 'As I worked with the Crate & Barrel team, our collaborative goal was to ensure there would be countless different ways to interpret the collection,' Jeremiah says. 'Every concept, material, and silhouette was put to the test to guarantee versatility in function and aesthetic.'
Design expertise in your inbox – from inspiring decorating ideas and beautiful celebrity homes to practical gardening advice and shopping round-ups.
By themselves, these pieces are statement-makers. They can enhance the atmosphere of the homes in which they're added. But together, this collection sings with rich character and unique style in a way that feels naturally harmonious.
As for his favorite pieces, Jeremiah is drawn to that which can enhance the dining room. 'When I think about my own home, some of our most core family memories have taken place around the dining room table,' he explains. 'Whether the Solara Dining Table, the Neue Dining Chairs, or the Giaco Vessels layered as a centerpiece are right for you, I love the idea of this collection being woven into customers’ everyday memories and traditions for years to come.'
'This collection has such a visual range, there’s not one right way to piece it together,' Jeremiah remarks. 'It invites the opportunity to reimagine and rearrange over the years – as we evolve, so can the pieces we love.'
The Collected Home embraces originality through contrast. It's a collection that's rich in character, and invites you to tap into what you feel makes a home truly feel like you.
Jeremiah's collection for Crate & Barrel is brimming with all sorts of decor that's both distinct and evocative – decor that can certainly make your home more unique and of course, collected.
