Kips Bay Decorator Show House is hosting its fourth annual design event this November
For all design enthusiasts, this event is a key calendar date
Kips Bay Decorator Show House has announced its return to Dallas, Texas for the fourth year running; a leading national design event that supports the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club as well as other local charities.
From Friday the 3rd of November, Kips Bay Decorator Show House will be open to the public for two weeks, having unveiled its 2023 location within the Old Preston Hollow's Sunnybrook Estates neighborhood in Dallas, where a group of esteemed designers will channel their skills to transform the space.
The 2023 Show House is a classic 5-bedroom property that boasts four living rooms and stretches across 1.7 acres, including outdoor living rooms and a pool. The event will see a select group of leading designers impart their design expertise to transform the property's rooms ahead of the public opening.
'Each year, we are continuously impressed by the amount of work and dedication the designers and architects put into the house, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what this group has planned for the space' says Daniel Quintero, Executive Director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.
Central to the design event is its charitable support, with the event fundraising for Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club of New York – a charity working to improve educational programs for young people – as well as supporting two local charities: Dwell with Dignity and The Crystal Charity Ball.
'We’re looking forward to welcoming the Dallas community into the Show House and continuing to raise critical funds for children in the Bronx and the local Dallas Community,' continues Quintero.
This year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas co-chairs are Jean Liu and Chad Dorsey; Laura Lee Clark, and Trish Sheats who serve as vice chairs; and Jamie Drake, Jan Showers, and Steele Marcoux as honorary chairs.

Emily is H&G's Paint & Color Editor, covering all things color across interior design and home decor. She joined the team in the summer of 2023, having studied Fashion Communication at university before working in various creative roles ahead of making the leap into interiors. She lives in Glasgow where she loves admiring the city's architecture, frequenting her favorite coffee spots, and sourcing vintage furniture for her tenement apartment. Emily's interior style is inspired by the simplicity of midcentury design, mixed with more playful modern pieces that inject small (but bold) doses of color.
