I've put myself on a shopping ban for the rest of May – but Joanna Gaines' latest Loloi drop might just convince me to break it
Joanna’s latest drop with Loloi blends vintage charm and a grounding palette

My home decor spending has gotten a little out of hand this month, so I promised myself I'd hit pause on shopping for the rest of May. But then Joanna Gaines showed up in my inbox with her latest spring drop with Loloi.
Suddenly, my willpower started to wobble. The newest Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines x Loloi collection, which is made up of 25 rugs and a selection of cozy yet casual throw pillows, is imbued with an unmistakably vintage feel with bold yet subtle patterns in earthy tones to blend old and new. And as a decorating with vintage obsessive, I'm sold.
Grounded, effortlessly chic, and so easy to style, Joanna Gaines knew exactly what she was doing with this spring collection. Here's everything on my wish list.
The new rugs, which include five collections named Henley, Pace, Ryder, Waylon, and Wimberly, are a clear evolution of Joanna's signature style. She, of course, has been inspired by upcoming rug trends, but the design and TV mogul has stuck true to her timeless aesthetic for this drop.
From kitchen-friendly runners that feel like something you've had for years to farmhouse or coastal style checks, each piece is designed to work comfortably and seamlessly into any room of your home – no matter your interior design style. Thanks to the carefully curated color palette and Joanna's expert eye for a perfectly distressed weave.

While I'm typically drawn to more traditional motifs, like the vintage-inspired patterns in the Wimberly collection, it was the Waylon rug that took me by surprise. Hand-tufted with a strong linear design, the nostalgic 'Spa' and 'Brick' tones are my new favorite unexpected color combination. And I think this might be just the upgrade my baby blue living room has been crying out for.
For those looking to the butter yellow decor trend to refresh your home for the sunny season, I'd recommend the Pace rug in Sunset. With a nod to vintage Turkish designs, this power-loomed rug is reimagined in a warm, soft ochre shade that is sure to brighten up the coolest of rooms.

The Pace rug is a top contender for my favorite rug in the collection, but choosing between this buttery Sunset shade and the slightly lighter Apricot is like choosing a favorite child. I love the warmth this vintage-style area rug brings, while the texture is said to feel similar to a hand-knotted rug underfoot.
The pillows from the collection add a little nod to coastal style, thanks to the classic blue and white palettes in various stripes. Dennis, shown here, is the boldest of the bunch, but I also love the Lincoln for a bit of French country style, too.
Hand-woven using a blend of wool and cotton to create a classic check or grid pattern, the Ryder rugs remain some of the simplest yet chicest designs in the collection. I could imagine this in traditional or contemporary spaces, and you can choose from four colorways to suit your style.
For more classic vintage style, the Wimberly collection is entirely hand-tufted using innovative print techniques and the perfect amount of distressing to create this moody, earthy tone and motif. There are seven different designs in the Wimberly, varying from cool to warm colors, so be sure to check them all out.
While the Waylon collection is made up of four sturdy pile checkerboard designs, this has to be my firm favorite. Sure, there are bolder motifs in the mix like the Denim print which mimicks a tartan in a deep blue, but I love the contemporary colorway and more subtle print.
Joanna Gaines has made it incredibly hard to stick to my self-enforced spending ban this month with her latest drop. But if you're being good and still craving a designer fix, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out Joanna Gaines' Mini Reni series, which just debuted on Magnolia Network and Max, and airs each Wednesday through to July 9.
