As a dog owner with a home I’ve put real heart and soul into, I’ve spent far too long hunting for stylish dog accessories that don’t undo all my design efforts. So, the first thing that caught my eye in the new McGee & Co. Spring drop was her first foray into pet gear.

Too often, pet pieces feel purely practical – fine for the dog, disastrous for my home's aesthetic. Enter Shea McGee’s spring collection, which finally delivers beds and bowls that feel as chic and considered as the rest of my home.

Practical, polished, and genuinely stylish, these are pet accessories I don’t feel the need to tuck away when guests come over. Below, I’ve rounded up the McGee & Co. spring collection pieces that prove your dog’s essentials can be just as stylish as the rest of your home.

I’ve spent years renovating and carefully curating the kitchen of my dreams – classic cabinetry, warm finishes, and traditional touches that make the space feel timeless rather than trendy. It’s the heart of my home, and every detail has been chosen with intention.

So you can imagine my frustration when all that effort was immediately ruined by an ugly pet bed in the corner and a stainless steel bowl that felt wildly out of place.

What I love most about Shea's approach to dog-friendly design is that nothing feels too kitsch or novelty. Instead, these pieces lean into the same principles McGee & Co. is known for: classic patterns, soft neutral palettes, and a sense of timelessness that works in a layered, lived-in home.

And, they work perfectly with Shea McGee’s ‘Hollywood cottage’ vision for spring. 'This is 'cottage', but with a fanciness applied to it,' Shea explained in a video talking through her top design trends for 2026. Think vintage-inspired florals, classic blue-and-white palette, and ceramics that look collected over time.

From beautifully patterned cotton pet beds that echo traditional textiles, to stoneware bowls and canisters that wouldn’t look out of place on an open shelf, every piece feels thoughtfully designed for real homes. Practical, yes, but never at the expense of style.

Below, I’ve rounded up the standout accessories from McGee & Co.’s Spring collection that prove you don’t have to compromise on your aesthetic to keep your four-legged friend happy.

For every style-conscious dog owner, I think this might just be Shea's best drop of the year. As a recently new dog owner herself, I can see why Shea's jumped on the pet designing hype, and if you're up for more inspiration, Shea's pet room from the Gable House project is worth a tour, too.
