There's a reason why dopamine decor is one of fall's biggest trends: this joyous aesthetic is almost impossible not to love.
Vibrant, fun, and full of personality, the trend encourages us to decorate our homes in a way that makes us happy – but what if we could spend a night in the ultimate dopamine decor-designed home without having to go bold in our own spaces?
Enter – Airbnb's latest collaboration with London-based label, House of Sunny.
In honor of fashion week, Sunny Williams (who has dressed the likes of Kendall Jenner and Dua Lipa) turned his Hackney showroom into a closet of dreams – and the space takes the dopamine decor to never-before-seen heights.
Spanning three rooms, the home (aptly named Sunny's House) was a chance for the designer to turn his playfully patterned textiles into an immersive interior experience – and he didn't disappoint. Stand-out spaces include the maximalist's bedroom of dreams (above), surrounded by red and orange waves that emulate the melting sunset colorways of the Sundown Cardigan.
'House of Sunny’s design and ethos has always been inspired by the intersection of culture, architecture, interior, and our community’s love for travel, home, and aesthetics,' Sunny comments.
'I am excited to welcome you to my house; this immersive Airbnb is unique, crafted, and eye-catching, the perfect partnership of fashion and special stays.
Alongside indulging in (what is set to be) 2024's most optimistic design trend, overnight guests also have the opportunity to be one of the first to try on the latest pieces from the label’s brand-new collection in the ethereal closet (with a changing dreamscape) and have a personal design experience with Sunny.
And, of course, the bathroom is just as indulgent. This lavish rouge space is adorned from floor to ceiling with contemporary claret tiles that pay tribute to the brand’s La Belle dress because who wouldn't want to bathe while surrounded by some of London Fashion Week's most iconic gowns?
'Airbnb is the home of aesthetically beautiful yet surprising stays. The beloved styles that Sunny Williams has developed have come to life in an eye-catching, one-of-a-kind stay on Airbnb. It’s truly an unforgettable experience for any fashion fan,' adds Amanda Cupples, General Manager of UK & Northern Europe at Airbnb.
Design lovers can request to book this overnight stay when bookings open on 19th September 2023 at 6pm BST (1pm EST) via Airbnb. However, we got a preview of the home (seen below), and we promise you it's worth signing up for.
