Britney Spears is quietly selling her Calabasas mansion – reports suggest
After only seven months, the singer is reportedly looking to flip her San Fernando Valley home – here's what we know

Britney Spears is quietly selling her Calabasas mansion that she purchased only seven months ago, according to new reports.
The star bought the home from car dealership businessman Bill Slevin soon after her wedding to fitness trainer Sam Asghari in June 2022. However, she is now looking to offload the opulent property, located in Calabasas, for a rumored $12 million – a slight increase from the $11.8 million the couple paid last year.
The estate, one of the most striking in the San Fernando Valley (and one of the world's best homes), failed to gain the affections of the singer, who is quickly looking to move after purchase. According to TMZ (who first reported the sale), Britney did not 'fall in love' with her new home – and is therefore looking to sell quickly and quietly.
Located in the double-gated Estates at the Oaks neighborhood, the home, which was built in 2008, includes even bedrooms and nine bathrooms spanning over 11,000 square feet of living space. The single-level property is a canvas for luxury decorating ideas, accentuated by its striking architectural assets.
Hints of the property's grandeur are foreshadowed by its beige-hued façade – complete with a terracotta-roof structure and curved glass door. This front door leads into a 33-foot foyer, bathed in Cantera stone.
Dirt reports that the home is also dressed with hardwood and stone floors, bespoke chandeliers, and vaulted ceilings throughout. There is also an Ann Sacks mosaic tile design and hand-carved fireplaces that maintain the regal aesthetic in the living spaces.
Other stand-out spaces include the gourmet kitchen – including a large island and breakfast nook that flows into the family room. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors flood this living space with natural light and lead out to the 2,000-square-foot patio that is perfect for al fresco dining. Alongside the patio, the backyard has a 55-foot pool and spa with tiered waterfalls and a one-bedroom guest house.

The home also comes with a wood-paneled study, 10-seat movie theater, wine cellar, and wet bar, where the party can continue once the sun sets on Calabasas.
Where does Britney Spears live?
Despite reportedly selling their Calabasas mansion, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari still have a 21-acre mansion that the singer purchased in 2015. The grand Mediterranean-style mansion in the Hidden Valley region was the site of the couple's wedding in 2022.
Her former property portfolio includes a chic penthouse in Noho, Manhattan, and a mansion in Beverly Hills, that she sold in 2020.
