I'm a sleep editor, and my favorite pillow is never on sale – it was 20% off for Prime Day
I've tested more pillows than I can count – the Coop Home Goods adjustable pillow is one of my favorites, and it was on offer for Prime Day

As H&G's sleep editor, I've been testing out the best mattresses, pillows, bed sheets, comforters, and pretty much any other bedding product you can dream up. I know exactly how to get a great night's sleep. Second to finding a mattress that suits your sleep style and needs, sleeping on one of the best pillows will make or break how well you rest.
After trying out some of the best pillows on the market, I've found the one I can no longer sleep without: The Coop Home adjustable pillow. Honestly, I notice it in my neck when I sleep on anything else. I think it's the best pillow you can buy.
I'm a side sleeper, which means I need a pillow that fits the gap between my shoulder and my head. A pillow too flat will cause my body to fall forward, too thick, and my neck could feel strained. The Coop pillow is customizable, which means you can add or remove the filling to find the perfect height.
This means it's suitable for all sleeping positions, so there's no surprise it has such great reviews on Amazon. The biggest drawback I've found with this pillow is that it's expensive, and it's hardly ever on sale. Unfortunately, Prime Day is over, so while Coop Home adjustable pillow currently had 20% off for Prime Day, it's no longer available at this price.

The long-time best-selling COOP Adjustable Loft Pillow will suit all sleep styles. It lets you precisely control the loft and fill of your pillow, so anyone can find their correct comfort level.
On test, I liked the fuss-free approach to customizing the pillow to your preference. Simply unzip the outer quilted shell, and then the secondary inner lining that contains the shredded memory foam and microfiber fill, and add or take away as much of the shredded memory foam into your pillow as you need to make it firmer or softer. Once you've adjusted your pillow exactly as you want it, you are left with a load of extra filling to store. I've ended up with mine in a bag under my bed.
This memory foam is hypoallergenic, has CertiPUR-US and GREENGUARD Gold certifications, and the quilted cover is soft and cooling, thanks to Coop's special Lulltra fabric, featuring bamboo-derived viscose rayon blended with polyester. I found the design also makes it incredibly easy to wash the outer cover in the washing machine.
You get 100 nights to decide if it's the best pillow for you (though I doubt you'll need it). As much as I love this pillow, some could find the 'sink-in' feel too soft for their liking – back sleep especially may agree.
FAQs
How often does Amazon have Prime deals?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual two-day sales event that usually happens during the month of July. This year 11th and 12th of July saw deals pretty much sitewide, meaning anything on your wishlist was much cheaper than at any other point in the year.
However, you haven't completely missed the discounts. Based on last year, it's likely that Amazon will run another Prime Day sale in October in the run-up to Black Friday.
Is shipping free on Prime Day?
So you're sure to score a saving on Prime Day, but what about delivery? Bumping the price on your purchase may mean you're no longer making as much of a saving as you thought. And the truth is, if you're not a Prime member, you may have to pay for your goods to get to you. However, if you're a Prime member, most of the products in the Amazon Prime Day sales will have a free delivery option – sometimes even the next day.
If you're yet to be a Prime member, it's worth signing up even after Prime Day. Members have exclusive discounts and extra offers available during the sales event, as well as free delivery.
Prime Day was the perfect time to bag yourself any bedding essentials with savings. Getting a great night's sleep can get expensive, with mattresses, bed sheets, protectors, comforters, toppers, and everything else to think about. Investing in comfortable sleep shouldn't be a luxury.
