As a Style Editor and Deputy Editor of Homes & Gardens, I don't have much occasion to visit Amazon's website but with some Amazon Prime Day home deals still live, my Editor asked me to take a look at the most stylish home essentials on Amazon.
And I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by Amazon's Home offering. So, I've curated a selection of my top nine buys that you can snatch for a low price, and pass off for designer finds.
Sneaky? Maybe. Do we care? No.
My top 9 stylish Amazon home essentials
$20.35 for set of 4, (-22%), Amazon
These plastic tumblers are the perfect partyware. If you’re having a gathering with a large group of friends it can be difficult to give everyone your favorite and most treasured glassware, so it’s always worth having some good looking plastic glasses in preparation for additional guests. These work out to be only a couple of dollars each – what a steal.
$30.59, (-15%), Amazon
There are a couple of Scandinavian brands that produce similar knotted pillow designs to this one but if you’re looking to get the look but not looking to break the bank then this extra soft design is the one for you. Make a style statement by getting a multiple pillows to spruce up your couch.
$379.99, (-16%), Amazon
You know you’ve made it in the world when you’ve got a KitchenAid perched and looking pretty on your kitchen counter. This artisan series design comes in a number of funky hues. Pink isn’t usually my color but this shade would be a great way to mix in some fun into your kitchen scheme. Pun intended, of course. You can find more Amazon Prime KitchenAid deals on our dedicated page.
$1525.75 (-15%), Amazon
I feel like I’m always on the quest to find the perfect mattress. I don’t often spot this on Amazon but here’s a deal that offers a ‘100 night trial’, so if it’s not right for you they will come to collect it. With its breathable material and cooling carbon-infused memory foam (whatever that might be?), there’s a good chance it’s a keeper, too.
$63.98 (-20%), Amazon
This dimmable, touch control lamp is the perfect for bedroom because it includes a USB charging port - perfect for charging your phone before bed. It’s especially good if you don’t have endless plug sockets that are situated near the bed.
$212.45 (-18%), Amazon
I’m always on the lookout for ways to add interest to a yard without it costing the earth. Okay, so this doesn’t come pre-assembled – meaning you will have to put it together - but how hard can it be? The color options are great; I particularly like this shade of sage green and the fluted design makes it feel that little bit special.
$55.99 (-30%), Amazon
As someone who is on her third box of string lights, I’ve learnt the hard way that it’s worth investing a little extra when deciding on a purchase. With 30% off, these lights still come in at a really reasonable price and they’re ‘shatterproof’, which ensures that they’ll last a little longer. They’re likely to be outside most of the year afterall.
$109.75 (-26%), Amazon
With its tipii-shaped silhouette, this clothes rail will bring an element of creativity to your child's bedroom. It’s a great way to teach them to tidy up after themselves but with a bit of imagination involved. Why not purchase a set of wooden hangers to complete the look?
$31.44 pack of two (-15%), Amazon
Baskets are a great way to help you get organized. It’s nice to have open shelves with your favorite items on display but sometimes you need a place to store the things that aren’t so pretty. I like to have a few baskets lying around for those moments when you’re in a rush and you just want your things out of the way.
FAQs
How long is Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual 2-day shopping event. This year it happened on the 11th and 11th of July, and it has been around similar dates in previous. You can expect deals to start a few days before and continue through to a few days after the actual second day has ended.
From our experience with Prime Days over the last few years, you could see a second Prime Day happen in October. In 2022, Amazon announced its Prime Early Access Sale with deals sitewide for the duration of two days.
Pssst! There are some fabulous Amazon Prime Day coffee maker deals to be had, too.
