While I love the idea of having an array of hidden storage – storage that seamlessly fits into every room, built into every eave and alcove – my house isn’t blessed with many opportunities for built-in solutions. Instead, I have to rely on storage that hides in plain sight. And for that, I turn to IKEA’s chic yet practical range of storage baskets.
Storage ideas are usually a balance between practicality and aesthetics, but in my home, where so much of it is on display, it really needs to deliver in the looks department. Over the years, I’ve collected a cohort of IKEA storage baskets that have earned their place on top of my kitchen cabinets, under the bed, and beside my couch.
