If there's one thing Sleep Number does well, it's innovation. The brand has long since been one of our top recommendations for those seeking an adjustable smart bed, and they've just released a brand new range of models.

The Sleep Number ComfortNext is a showcase of exactly what the brand does best: Next-level comfort, support, and relief that's personalized to you.

Get to Know Sleep Number's New ComfortNext Mattress

There are three brand new models in the ComfortNext range – the ComfortNext, ComfortNext Lux, and the ComfortNext Ultra. The main differences are defined by the support levels offered by each: The ComfortNext offers advanced relief and is 12 inches tall, while the Lux option is 13 inches with superior relief, and the Ultra is 14 inches, providing maximum relief. All three are designed to support your hips, shoulders, and knees, while the Lux and Ultra models also support your lower back.

There's also a discrepancy in price. The ComfortNext is the most affordable of the three, with the prices increasing with the more supportive models. So, if you're wondering which mattress will suit you, this may be something to consider.

All three ComfortNext mattresses feature a plush custom foam layer, and adjustable air chambers with Responsive Air, protected by a durable foam layer for added support, which is designed to cleverly sense your movements throughout the night, and automatically adjust the firmness to keep you sleeping comfortably. The firmness of all three can also be adjusted, each side independently, via the app.

And, while the standard ComfortNext model features a durable two-inch foam layer for advanced support, the brand new Tri-Brid mattress design featured in the ComfortNext Lux and Ultra models also includes additional supportive layers and individually wrapped micro coils for longer-lasting support.

All three provide ultimate plush, luxurious comfort and targeted relief exactly where you need it, no matter which sleep position you tend to rest in.

This new range is also a perfect pick for hot sleepers, meaning you won't need to pair it with one of the best cooling mattress toppers and pads. All three models are built with up to 175 per cent more cooling materials than the previous iteration, the Sleep Number ComfortMode mattress, and feature active temperature control. This allows you to program and personalize your degree of comfort on either side of the bed, with active cooling and warming features, which automatically control your ideal sleep climate throughout the night, even if it differs from that of your partner.

All three models also deliver personalized sleep insights each morning and can be controlled via the Sleep Number app. You can quickly and easily compare the differences between each of the three on the Sleep Number site.
