Alessandra Ambrosio's dining room is an eclectic mix of vintage and modern design – experts love its 'inviting' feel
Mixing the old and new, this dining room is full of character

The California home of supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio is a laid-back and cozy space. Designed with the help of celebrity interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who is known for his eclectic take on interior design, the whole home provides endless decor inspiration.
While Alessandra's boho-inspired living room takes a more pared-back approach, it's the dining room that has an eclectic feel, combining modern and vintage design elements that create a deeply interesting and lived-in feel.

As pictured above, the room is filled with vintage furniture and decor items while the color palette is varied. 'Alessandra Ambrosio’s dining room features a gorgeous blend of vintage and modern elements that work together to create a glamorous yet comfortable living space,' comments interior designer Rudolph Diesel.
'The focal point of the room is the striking vintage Egyptian lantern hanging above the dining table with blue, yellow, and green glass details. Surrounding the table are linen-upholstered chairs in tones of orange, taupe, and pale blue that pick up on the colors within the lantern’s glass framework,' Diesel continues to observe.

Rudolph Diesel is the founder of Rudolph Diesel Interiors, a property marketing and design house based in West London. He has Public Relations qualifications and a BBA in marketing and branding. He is the principal interior designer for prestigious property development firms throughout London.
In contrast to the room's selection of vintage items, the metal cabinets are a modern addition that 'have distressed mirror added to their backs to add sparkle to the room,' writes Bullard in the post's caption.
The playful design of the room makes it seem like the ideal space for hosting dinner parties, while it remains a feeling of grandeur, as Diesel observes: 'The mix of vintage and contemporary elements in this room creates a dining space that manages to feel both glamorous and inviting which is a perfect backdrop for entertaining with a dinner party. The eclectic blend of modern, vintage, and Morrocan features gives this dining room a truly unique character.'
The decor of the room is complete with the addition of dinnerware and glassware of an array of rich room colors, echoing those of the statement lantern and further establishing the eclectic style.
