We're big fans of scented candles here at H&G – in our opinion, there's perhaps no better way to create ambiance than with a beautiful fragrance lighting up the room.
We were excited to hear, then, that Ashley Tisdale – actor, singer, and founder of the wellness line Being Frenshe – has just unveiled a new product in her collection: the Palo Santo Sage candle.
An earthy and relaxing scent, the new Palo Santo Sage fragrance is featured in a variety of products, including a body oil, lotion, body wash, healing salve stick, and perfume in addition to the candle. We'd say it's one of the best candles on the market, so we'd recommend picking up before it sells out.
'It’s such an amazing day because I just launched my new scent of Being Frenshe, Palo Santo Sage, and the mood is present and grounded,' said Tisdale in a recently posted video on Instagram. 'The scent is next level. It is, by far, one of my favorites.'
Ylang-ylang, eucalyptus, and, naturally, palo santo comprise the makeup of this warming scent. The intention behind it is one of meditation and appreciation for the present moment – according to Tisdale, its inception stemmed out of a difficult period in her life, wherein she was seeking a sense of calm.
'I create the scents based off the moods first,' she explains. 'I was having a lot of anxiety [at the time]... I just wanted to feel grounded.'
Being Frenshe products all use 'MoodScience™ Scent Technology,' backed by a team of fragrance experts, in order to boost mood.
Tisdale launched Being Frenshe in 2022 with a slate of body washes, lotions, perfumes, and candles. The original variety of relaxing scents included Citrus Amber, Solar Fleur, Lavender Cloud, and Cashmere Vanilla. Palo Santo Sage is the first new scent addition. We think it's the perfect scent for welcoming guests through our entryway and simultaneously suited to the bedroom for a soothing sleep space.
While the line prides itself on its clean ingredients, the candles specifically are cruelty-free and vegan, in addition to being sulfate-, paraben-, and phthalate-free, and scented with natural essential oils.
