There is something timeless about a dusty rose, particularly when it's used in a bathroom. It feels at once traditional and trend-forward, colorful without dominating a space.
Jessica Alba shares our love for this shade, as proven by her vanity – a light pink unit accessorized by neutral objects.
While a white or cream vanity is certainly versatile, a pink one (like this one from Mustard Made) adds some color and dimension to an otherwise neutral space, and designers say the color is one to watch this season. However, you can also tap into Jessica's lighthearted look with some fun accessories I've listed below.

Ten years on from the millennial pink craze, design insiders explain that this hue is making a huge comeback.
'Pastel pink had a huge moment in 2016, and was often referred to as ‘millennial pink’, especially when used alongside grey,' Ronseal’s brand manager and interior paint expert, Clara Dursen explains. 'The year also saw rose gold hardware take over traditional silver and gold, and Rose Quartz was awarded Pantone's color of the year.'
She continues, 'Pink can work really well as a neutral, especially when paired with wood and striking dark shades. We’re especially seeing various shades of pink being used as a way to inject warmth into a space and complement other rich, earthy tones like oxblood and taupe. More muted and soft tones like mauve and salmon will be popular choices for redecorating, as these can make a bold statement, especially when paired with contrasting tones like slate blue or olive green.'
Want to recreate the look for yourself? This dusty rose swivel chair from Wayfair, and this scallop tray from Addison Ross are fabulous additions to any bathroom or powder room.
