Jonathan Scott says this smart laundry appliance will 'become a staple in everybody’s home'
The Property Brother and Zooey Deschanel use this ingenious solution in their laundry room – and he predicts it will be a future home-essential

We admit it can be hard to know where to begin with smart tech appliances – but one thing we look out for is expert approval – especially when it comes from Jonathan Scott.
The Property Brother, who lives with New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel, offered a glimpse inside their laundry room, exhibiting a look at the appliance he says will be the 'future of tech.' But what exactly does it involve?
'This is the Studio Styler. You can essentially do all your dry cleaning without chemicals at home. It uses true steam to sanitize everything,' Jonathan says. He chose the original Studio Styler, designed by LG (available below). However, there are also similar clothes dryer options to accommodate most sized homes and budgets.

Jonathan Scott is one-half of the Property Brothers – a design duo who share specialist knowledge in the real estate industry (Drew) and contracting (Jonathan). The siblings front W Network's The Property Brothers and own a production company, Scott Brothers Entertainment. They are also authors of Dream Home and Builder Brothers.
As Jonathan demonstrates, the appliance uses the power of steam to refresh, deodorize and sanitize any kind of garment in minutes. Manufacturers LG label it 'the ultimate laundry solution,' and we would agree.
'You can de-wrinkle, you can iron, you can also put in the kids’ stuffed toys, or sports equipment, to sanitize those,' Jonathan says.
'You put it in there... it’s totally sanitized and takes the smell away. This is something that I think will become a staple in everybody’s home and in the laundry room – if you have the room. I put one into my Brother vs Brother house and one in here at our house. I think it is something that you would love.'
This 'laundry companion' is the next tech must-have – perfect for refreshing and deodorizing clothes in an instant. It has a large capacity inside and a mirror finish for a full-length reflection before we head out of the door.
Even with celebrity support setting up a smart home, or even more specifically, a smart laundry room, can feel like a sizeable investment. So are these appliances worth it? Jessica Petrino, an educator & appliance expert at AJ Madison, suggests so.

'Smart Tech is bringing bright ideas and colorful concepts to the laundry room. Laundry is the most innovative appliance category of all, as premium brands continue to push the boundaries of forward-thinking design and technological innovation,' she says.
'With a focus on fabric care, energy efficiency, ease of use, and enduring reliability, these makers are leveraging smart technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to design features that optimize the performance of their products and enhance the day-to-day lives of the people who rely on them.' This can be anything from a new smart washing machine to an appliance like LG STUDIO Styler.
