Summer House's Lindsay Hubbard knows a thing or two about hosting. Well-versed in throwing parties on the Bravo reality series, the new mom and TV personality has taken her love of creating an inviting ambiance into the realm of scents, having recently teamed up with AirWick.

'I wanted to partner with AirWick to help people be guest-ready every day, whether it's an impromptu gathering or a special occasion,' Lindsay tells us from New York City, explaining that the brand has some of the best scents for every room in the home. 'I created this collection of vision boards to really inspire people and hosts to step into their own personal hosting style, inspired by my favorite AirWick fragrances.'

Her personal favorite? A relaxing, grounding scent. 'My favorite is the lavender and chamomile scented oil [available at Amazon], it really just gives this feminine, feel-good vibe, so the vision board for that really just reminds me of like a girly garden party.'

Lindsay is well-versed in scent-scaping, explaining that she prefers different fragrances in different areas of the home.

'I love the fresh linen scented oil for basically right when you walk in the door, which is important when you have guests over, you want them to feel like they're entering into a clean space,' she says. 'I love the lavender and chamomile for the living room, and then every now and then, there's the vibrant deep blue sea and beechwood and that's more of a moody fragrance so I think if you're hosting a dinner party or if there's a rain shower outside it kind of reminds me of that.'

Apart from working with Air Wick, Lindsay is looking to redecorate as she relocates to a new apartment.

'I'm moving in a couple of weeks and I'm really, really excited to start entertaining in my new apartment,' she tells us. 'It's a much bigger space than I have now. It's truly, it feels like a home in the middle of New York, which is really hard to do.'

She describes her vision for her new place as 'moody-chic.'

'I went from sharing a space with my ex and kind of having an androgynous style, to then breaking up and then doing more clean neutrals,' she explains. 'I think with this new home it is a little bit more moody and darker palettes, more luxe.'

She is also mindful of having a baby in her design plans, noting that she is most excited about designing a play area for her daughter, Gemma.

'She's already taking over my entire living room,' so I plan on creating a little play area for her in my new living room that will be like her little living room next to my living room,' Lindsay says.

When it comes to hosting tips, however, Lindsay says a relaxed approach is always best.

'Don't stress too much,' she advises. 'People don't really need a lot: still and sparkling water. And just make sure that the conversation is flowing.' What more could we want from time with our closest friends?
