Who Said Cookware Can't Be Fun? Drew Barrymore's Non-Toxic Pan Set Is One of the Prettiest I've Ever Seen – And It's $30 Off Right Now

With 11 fun colors to choose from, it's rivaling Le Creuset's collections

As an Appliances and Cookware Editor, I’ll admit I get unreasonably excited about cookware that looks good. Performance is non-negotiable, but there’s something about a plain black pan that quickly starts to feel uninspiring. A pop of color can make everyday cooking feel far more enjoyable.

That is why I am obsessed with Drew Barrymore's Beautiful Ceramic Non-Stick Cookware, from Walmart. It comes in an impressive 11 colorways, rivaling those offered by Le Creuset, with everything from bold Tomato Red to delicate Buttercream yellow.

Better still, it carries the same credentials as the best non-toxic cookware, with a ceramic coating that eliminates the use of 'forever chemicals.' At under $120 for five pans plus storage, it's some of the most affordable, too.

If you want to make a kitchen less toxic but depend on non-stick cookware to make weeknight dinners simpler, ceramic is the perfect choice. The slippery surface prevents sticking and burning without the inclusion of traditional PFAS. It can be just as delicate, still requiring hand-washing and silicone tools such as the Bella Modular Tool Set from Amazon, but it offers much greater peace of mind.

What makes this set a particular favorite of mine, however, is the sheer number of colors on offer. Drew Barrymore has never shied away from including color in her collections. From her latest Latte colored accent chair to a Buttercream yellow toaster, she has always been firmly on the side of turning kitchenware into decor. This is not cookware you will need to hide away − instead, you can leave it sitting proudly on your worktop or stove (making it an extra win for those of us with limited kitchen storage).

This is not a claim I have been able to make for many other cookware sets. The color selection rivals only that of Le Creuset, which, at the time of writing, offers 24 colors across its range of cookware. The next best is the Caraway Cookware set with eight. Drew Barrymore's set comes in at a staggeringly impressive price compared to either, with all pans plus their straining lids and felt protectors for stacking coming in at $119 in the sale. You can hardly find a single pan at either of the other brands for as good a price.

Don't let the lower price point raise doubts about the caliber, though − verified shoppers love both the quality and performance of these pans. In their five-star review, Lisa shared, 'I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase this cookware. Heats evenly, food slides right out, [and] clean up is effortless. The slotted lids and pour spouts are phenomenal. If you’re debating purchasing, do it. I purchased a black set for myself and a blue set for the MIL’s upcoming birthday.'

Another, geanett, added that while they usually hate cooking, this set inspired them enough to get into the kitchen. 'I want to cook every day now,' they write. 'The food never sticks, and the cookware cleans up so easily. They live up to the name; they are beautiful. I am so glad I bought them.'
