This chic Amazon laundry basket has finally convinced me to get on top of my washing – and it comes recommended by Chris Loves Julia

Plus, it's on wheels

Laundry has always been one of those chores I dread. Piles of clothes, mismatched socks, and the endless cycle of wash, dry, fold, put away... I'm not its biggest fan. But, as an adult who likes having something clean to wear, it's a totally necessary task.

So, like I have to do with most boring tasks, I set about trying to give it the dopamine boost I was craving. After a scroll on the Chris Loves Julia Amazon storefront, I came across this designer-approved StorageWorks Laundry Basket that is not only a super practical laundry room addition to help streamline the entire process, but chic enough to make me actually look forward to doing the laundry.

As far as functional items go, this is one of my best Amazon finds in a long time. It has stylish appeal, is on wheels, and the best part: it is discounted right now in the early Prime Day deals.

Of course, what instantly sold me on this basket is the aesthetics. Like something you'd find in a chic hotel, its leather accents and thick canvas-style fabric mean it'll look stylish in any laundry room or corner of your bedroom – which is a game-changer for someone like me who isn't lucky enough to have a separate utility space.

But beyond its aesthetic appeal, the big money maker is its capacity. It holds up to 160L of laundry, which they say is about 3-4 days' worth of laundry for an entire family, meaning fewer trips to the washer.

For even busier households, there is also the big sister StorageWorks 280L Large Laundry Hamper on offer, which has the same aesthetic but two compartments for added capacity or to help you sort your colors.

Plus, it can be collapsed for space-saving storage when not in use. And instead of having to lug it around, it's conveniently on wheels, making it easier to move from room to room.

For someone like me, who is always looking for ways to make daily chores more manageable, this hamper has upgraded my whole laundry routine.

And I'm not the only one who's impressed. One reviewer says: 'I love this thing. Wish I had bought more during Prime days. It’s very sturdy in my opinion. It holds a decent amount of laundry, more than the last thing I was using! The wheels roll well on vinyl and even carpet, but I haven’t moved it much, so I’m not sure if I could really gauge them properly. All in all, I’m totally content.'

With Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days just around the corner (October 7-8), now is the perfect moment to snap up an early deal or bookmark this hamper before the main event.
