If you're anything like us here at Homes & Gardens, you're seemingly continually inspired by the use of color in home decor – intrigued by its power to shape how a space looks and feels.
Delving into this topic in great detail is Farrow & Ball, who this week announced the launch of its very own color-centric podcast. Named The Chromologist, the podcast is a personal exploration of color trends, exploring how color makes our spaces so unique.
The series is hosted by Farrow & Ball brand ambassador Patrick O'Donnell, where each week he talks to a prominent guest from the design world. In each episode, they discuss standout colors that are significant to them, informed by their own past experiences and memories.

'I’m always delighted by the response when we talk about color and the power of design on social media,' says Patrick O'Donnell. 'I could talk about design all day, and our followers regularly tell us they want more. So, it felt like a perfect next step to turn those conversations into a podcast and invite all these inspiring people to join me.'
'It’s amazing how much color can resonate and remind of times, whether good or bad, and create these little intimate stories that our wonderful guests were happy to share,' Patrick tells H&G.
Guests on the podcast have so far included fashion designer and Netflix's Queer Eye star Tan France; retail guru Mary Portas; and The Secret Lives of Colour author Kassia St Clair.
Upcoming guests on the series are set to include former Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers; Australian chef Skye Gyngell; and fashion designer Christopher John Rogers, co-creator of Farrow & Ball's Carte Blanche collection, amongst other exciting names.
