I'm a firm believer that the little details in my home make the greatest impact. Whether it's the small jewelry tray I keep next to my bathroom sink or the little bowl of matchbooks on my kitchen counter, these tiny details help make my home feel complete.

In a recent Instagram post for her Hearth & Hand collection at Target, designer Joanna Gaines spoke of her appreciation for the little details in the home, too. 'I'm very big into little things,' Joanna says, using several pieces from the new collection as examples, all of which are small in size but make a mighty design impact.

You see, it's these small pieces of decor that often complete a space and make a home feel more unique. Like a small lamp on a bookshelf that was missing that one thing, or a set of tiny candles on a credenza that previously felt unfinished, small decor makes stylized spots feel complete.

Not only that, but small decor adds size diversity – because any arrangement always looks better with decor in varying heights and sizes, whether that be decor on a coffee table, mantel, or dresser. But above all else, small decor is simply cute. And who doesn't love cute things?

If your home feels like it's missing something, it's probably small decor. Shop the best tiny picks from Joanna's Hearth & Hand by Magnolia collection at Target, below.

Joanna Gaines' Target collection certainly has lots to offer – including small pieces that make a big difference.

If you can't get enough of her charmingly inviting aesthetic, shop Joanna's Magnolia fall collection that just recently launched – it's complete with vintage-inspired prints, rustic objects, and even some tiny decor pieces here and there.
