While Benjamin Moore's showrooms offer excellent color expertise and browsing opportunities, there are an endless number of Benjamin Moore stockists across the US where you can shop for paint.

To find your closest store, visit the Benjamin Moore Store Locator, which provides useful information about each stockist, including which Benjamin Moore products they stock and opening hours.

And while you can easily find your closest stockist at the link above, it's always useful to hear from interior designers and the stores they rely on most when browsing for their projects. For Denver-based designer Nadia Watts, Guyir’s – which has stores across Colorado and New Mexico – is a favorite place to shop for Benjamin Moore paints.

'Guyir’s has been around since 1899, with multiple locations throughout the west as well as an online presence,' Nadia says. 'Guyir’s knows their paint, the team members are knowledgeable, and they offer design services as well as all the tools to get the job done. Guyir’s has a huge selection of Benjamin Moore sample paints that are well labeled and easy to find, making sampling paint colors easy and efficient.'

For Westport, Connecticut-based designer Caroline Kopp, Ring's End is a recommended place to shop: 'I buy Benjamin Moore from Ring's End – a local institution for paint in this neck of the woods.'

Ring's End is also recommended by designer Lina Galvao of Curated Nest Interiors, who adds that Interstate Lumber also provides a useful in-person shopping experience: 'We are based in Connecticut, so we buy paint from Ring's End or Interstate Lumber. We also like other local Benjamin Moore dealers, but those are our go-tos as they can give great advice on the appropriate type of paint and primer to buy for the intended use.'

If you're based in and around Chicago, JC Licht is a home improvement store that stocks Benjamin Moore, with multiple locations in the Chicago area. 'We love to support our local businesses,' says interior designer Andrea Goldman. 'Our favorite, right down the street from our studio in Glencoe, Illinois, is JC Licht. They are always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.'

Ace Hardware has stores across the US, recommended by designers for its service. 'I love browsing Benjamin Moore's colors online, but when purchasing, I visit my local Ace Hardware,' says Atlanta-based designer Amber Guyton of Blessed Little Bungalow. 'I receive incredible service at every location I've entered, so I prefer in-person based on personal experience.'
