The London label’s bold florals, geometrics, and leopard print get a homeware twist in Ruggable’s newest drop

I’ve loved RIXO for years. Their dresses have seen me through countless weddings, Christenings, 30th birthdays, and impulsive “I just need something new” moments than I care to admit.

It’s the vintage-inspired prints that get me every time – the hand-painted florals, the joyful geometrics, the bold splashes of color. So when I heard that the cult London label was bringing their style DNA home, I knew I needed a first look at the RIXO x Ruggable collection. And it certainly doesn't disappoint.

The four statement-making designs each capture a different facet of the brand’s signature style – including an iconic leopard print. So, whether you're looking to match your closet and carpet or are simply searching for a new statement piece, this collection is sure to turn the heads of the most fashionable home decorators.

If there’s one thing I love as much as a great dress, it’s great design. And RIXO's aesthetic lends itself perfectly to interiors: expressive, eclectic, and full of personality.

When the founders, best friends Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey, describe the partnership as something that 'just made perfect sense', you can see why. RIXO's expressive, artful designs bring instant wow-factor to a space, while Ruggable's washable rug system is a game-changer for busy homes – whether you have kids, pets, are renovating, or your floors seem to be a magnet for red wine, as mine are.

While it's not the brand's first foray into homewares, the maximalist's dream Casa RIXO launched last year to great success, this four-piece collection brings their vision to life on a bigger scale.

Henrietta and Orlagh describe how 'Partnering with Ruggable felt like such a natural step for us – their innovative, washable rugs are something we genuinely love, and bringing RIXO's bold prints into people’s homes in a way that was artful but still functional just made perfect sense.'

'Each rug captures a part of our signature style, whether it’s our timeless leopard print, hand-painted florals, or a playful geometric. We wanted the designs to feel vibrant, unique, and full of little details you discover over time – the kind of pieces that make a home feel like truly your own.'

Rugs can often make or break a room. But shot in founder Orlagh’s home, the RIXO x Ruggable designs to slot in effortlessly. Her interiors, much like the brand’s prints, are joyful, layered, and full of personality. Think rich color palettes, vintage treasures, unexpected pattern pairings, and that distinctly British charm.

Take the Portobello Road rug, seen above in her Ibiza-inspired breakfast nook, a striking yet pared-back design that balances soft, romantic hues with a graphic, geometric print that works perfectly to enliven a neutral space.

For the more maximalist shopper, the Lion’s Cub rug is the one that will instantly make you smile. Inspired by bohemian British eccentricity, it’s packed with painterly details like butterflies, florals, and whimsical animal motifs layered over a smoky charcoal ground to create a modern tapestry.

In the Kensington Sapphire & Brown rug, we see print clashing at its most confident. RIXO's beloved leopard print takes center stage, bordered by classic florals that soften the overall look. And if you're looking for some true RIXO flower power, the Kings Road Multicolor rug will speak to you. A vibrant floral print inspired by iconic Pucci prints brings a dreamy, Mediterranean energy to the design, making it an instant mood-booster in any space.

Each design is available in a range of shapes and sizes, from runners to circular shapes. So it couldn't be easier to find a living room rug, kitchen rug, or bedroom rug to your liking. And of course, they all benefit from Ruggable's machine-washable treatment and are all made on Ruggable's new Tufted All-In-One style, which combines the brand's original two-layer design into one washable, slip-proof design.

It’s this fusion of design and durability that makes the collaboration feel so current. And with Ruggable’s Black Friday sale now underway, it’s a perfect moment to explore the full range. While the RIXO rugs aren’t included in the discounts, there are plenty of Ruggable’s bestselling designs on sale for a limited time only.
