Even the Smallest Kitchens Can Fit an Ice Cream Maker This Summer, Thanks to the New Compact nutribullet Chill

It's the compact essential that will get me (and my tiny kitchen) through summer

It’s no secret that ice cream makers are the fastest-selling small kitchen appliances every summer. This year, however, one model is standing out: The nutribullet Chill, a compact countertop machine that’s quickly winning us over.

Traditional ice cream makers have a reputation for being bulky, unattractive, and expensive. The new launch from NutriBullet flips that expectation. Priced just shy of $200, the Chill is a charming, space-saving alternative that nestles as neatly on your counter as it does into your cabinets.

Reportedly 47% smaller than comparable machines, it transforms nearly any mixture into a creamy, frosty dessert in minutes – it’s hard to imagine it staying in stock for long.

I consume enough ice cream each summer to keep a small creamery afloat, yet I’ve never justified buying an ice cream maker. Even an appliance as tempting as the Ninja CREAMi Swirl – which we reviewed and awarded four stars last year – hasn’t convinced me to surrender precious counter space in my small kitchen.

The nutribullet Chill Ice Cream Maker, however, is a different story. It delivers everything my dairy-loving heart could want in a far more compact footprint. Measuring 9.6" L x 5.74" W x 15.08" H, it is by far the smallest appliance I have come across, and comes with two 16-oz pint cups that double as ice cream storage.

It is ideal for small kitchens that cannot usually afford to sacrifice storage space for 'novelty', seasonal appliances.

The compact countertop companion is 47% smaller than other ice cream makers.

The nutribullet Chill delivers five preset frozen dessert programmes, including ice cream, sorbet, gelato, smoothie bowl, and frozen yogurt for true versatility. Its powerful motor and 360 DoubleCream™ Blade Technology transform pre-frozen ingredients (after a 24-hour freeze) into a creamy dessert in under five minutes. For summer hosting, it’s an ideal prep-ahead solution.

While compact enough to store away in the off-season, the machine’s five playful colorways make a compelling case for leaving it on display all summer. My personal favorite is Cotton Candy Pink, though Mint Chip Green, Latte Beige, Matte Black, and Matte White each slip effortlessly into almost any kitchen color scheme.
