Le Creuset's magical new collab is indulging my Wicked obsession while I await the new movie – and it's thrown fans into a frenzy
The limited edition Le Creuset x Wicked collection has swooped in, but I have no doubt it'll fly off the shelves just as fast

I can hardly believe it's been a year since the Wicked movie hit theaters (if not for the fact that my inner monologue has since been replaced with the lyrics of 'Defying Gravity'). As the second movie approaches (it's coming out on 21 November), the buzz is really building, and I've seen hints of pink and green popping up everywhere – including in the rather spellbinding Le Creuset X Wicked collection.
Yes, even heritage cookware can receive the Wicked treatment. If you've been on the market for the best Dutch oven, now's your moment to snap up two limited edition shades of Le Creuset's signature model: a deep emerald green and a luminous pink.
Le Creuset creates the kind of cookware that will claim a spot in your kitchen for years to come – but that doesn't mean it can't dip into the trends. If you've seen Le Creuset's fall 2025 collection, you'll know that the brand isn't afraid to experiment with new silhouettes and playful designs, and the Le Creuset X Wicked collection brings a touch of magic to some of the best cast iron cookware you can buy.
Taking inspiration from Wicked's two protagonists – powder pink Glinda, and the more mysterious but fearless Elpheba – the collaboration features new Dutch ovens finished with embossed lids and contrasting metal knobs. Le Creuset is known for its oven-to-table versatility, and these Dutch ovens will certainly become a centerpiece of their own when it's time to serve guests at your next dinner party.
The Glinda embossed Dutch oven feels as timeless as any Le Creuset design, with a glossy pink finish that you might recognise from the viral petal braiser. Here, however, the floral detailing on the lid has been swapped out for a sketch of Glinda bearing her crown and magic wand, while a gleaming gold handle graces the center.
The Elphaba embossed Dutch oven is, naturally, emerald green, but there's more to it than meets the eye. You'll spot Elphaba and her broomstick etched into the top (along with a pair of flying monkeys), while the interior is matte black to complement the black nickel handle on the lid. If you're looking for a more striking piece that will still stand the test of time, and capture a moment in movie history, I'd venture to say that this is the perfect investment.
Of course, quality cookware usually boasts a steeper price tag, and it can be easy to question should you buy Le Creuset? (both the Elphaba and Glinda Dutch ovens will set you back a cool $450, after all). Here at Homes & Gardens, however, we're unwavering Le Creuset fans – and we can't resist a pop culture crossover either. The Le Creuset X Wicked collection is bound to be popular, so I'll be placing my order before these limited edition pieces fly away for good.

This fluted bowl is as elegant as Glinda herself, and it's ideal for serving a crowd. I love that it's microwave-, dishwasher- and even oven-safe, too.
Stockpot or witch's cauldron? Either way, I can't take my eyes off this smoky green Le Creuset classic – plus, it's on sale right now.
Dainty, charming and pastel-hued, these salt and pepper shakers will add a dash of whimsy to any tablescape, though they would also make a wonderful gift.
'Tis the season of colorful cookware collaborations: the Le Creuset X Wicked collection comes hot on the heels of the Our Place x Crocs butter yellow drop. It looks like my kitchen will be a riot of color and fun this fall.
