This glass and BPA-free coffee maker is so iconic that it rarely goes on sale – but it just dropped to 45% off until midnight
My only question is, which color will you choose?

The Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select is rarely, if ever, discounted. Handmade in the Netherlands with stainless steel, glass, and BPA-free materials – it is rather unique in a world of plastic-heavy coffee makers.
I crowned this model with the 'Best Design' title in our guide to the best non-toxic coffee makers 2025 – an accolade not easily won in a range of French presses and ceramic pour-overs that are all timelessly elegant and well-crafted.
I tested each one myself, and the Technivorm Moccamaster stood out. It brews as beautifully as it looks – precise, quiet, consistent – with the kind of craftsmanship that inspires long-term loyalty. Deals like this don’t come around often, and it will end at 11:59 pm tonight. So don't miss out if it's on your wish list.
This coffee maker is rarely discounted, but a generous 45% discount just dropped on Amazon. If you’re after luxury, reliability, and a chemical-free brew, it is well worth considering.
Let’s start with the obvious: this thing is gorgeous. The Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select's retro design comes in a full spectrum of shades – from bold primaries that pop against white walls to softer pinks, creams, and blues that blend beautifully into warmer kitchens. It’s a design centerpiece as much as a coffee maker.
Technivorm say: 'Only high-quality and recyclable materials are used for the production of both coffee grinders and coffee makers. In addition, all plastic parts are BPA-, BPF- and phthalate-free and therefore not harmful to you as a user or nature.'
The safe, non-leaching materials are even Gywneth Paltrow-approved (she brews her coffee in a grey Moccamaster) – and that's always a vote of confidence in my book.

Functionally, it holds its own. The Technivorm Moccamaster brews a full 10-cup carafe in just six minutes, and does so quietly. We were highly impressed by the rich flavors in the test kitchen, rating it 4.5 stars in our review. And it’s not just us: the machine is certified gold by both the Specialty Coffee Association and the European Coffee Brewing Center — a rare double stamp of approval.
Settings-wise, it leans minimalist. There are no smart features, custom settings, or complex interfaces – just the essentials, executed well. If you’re seeking more bells and whistles, you might want to look at the OXO Drip Coffee Maker, which has a 30% discount on Amazon bringing it to around $140. But it won’t turn heads like the Technivorm Moccamaster.
This iconic piece rarely sees a discount, and for design lovers or plastic-free purists, it’s well worth the splurge. At 45% off today, it’s the perfect time to finally fold.
The only real decision is: which color will you choose? If you're following the tri-color kitchen trend, you should go for one of your accent tones. While my own kitchen features hints of green and blue, I find myself drawn to the Technivorm Moccamaster in its timeless, creamy off-white – a shade that never goes out of style.
