Drew Barrymore wants to make 'everyone's lives more beautiful at home' – starting with this accent piece
The actress has designed a bouclé chair 'that is the perfect blend of style and comfort' – and it's even more accessible than it sounds
Actress, talk show host, and author Drew Barrymore has just added another skill to her résumé: furniture designer.
The founder of Beautiful by Drew (already known for its fashionable kitchenware) is taking things out of the kitchen and into the wider home – beginning with a bouclé accent chair – that is the centerpiece of her new furniture collection. The pieces in question are all available at Walmart – so investing in Drew's style is refreshingly accessible.
'We're on a mission to make everyone's lives more beautiful at home by offering stylish products at attainable price points,' Drew says. 'I've always believed that you shouldn't have to spend a lot of money in order to create a space you love, and I want to help you do just that.
Drew Barrymore is the founder of Barrymore Brands. With a lifetime of experience in the entertainment industry (as an award-winning actor, producer, and director), she is said to bring an 'anything-is-possible approach' and 'tireless dedication' to brand building.
The Drew Chair | $298.00 at Walmart
The statement piece from Drew Barrymore's new collection, this bouclé chair is made from fabric upholstery with natural fibers – for a stylish, soft touch. We love how its cream hue complements almost every home decor style and color palette.
The chair (above) is described as a beautiful bouclé, swivel, accent chair that is the perfect blend of style and comfort' – and we can't help but note how it taps into current interior design trends, too.
The designer-approved fabric derives from the French word (meaning 'curled' or 'ringed') – referring to both a yarn made from a series of looped fibers or the fabric that comes from it (in Drew's case, it is the latter). Celebrities including Chrissy Teigen have also sported the bouclé trend (we recently spotted this curved sofa in her Los Angeles home) – and now, with Drew Barrymore's support, we suspect this fabric will endure for seasons to come.
Throughout the coming months, Beautiful by Drew will launch more offerings across different rooms – with a variety of accessible products that are, of course, right on trend. In the meantime, however, you can shop for these Beautiful by Drew kitchen appliances below (they're among the best air fryers and toasters on the market, and course, and course, they're as stylish as their designer).
